"Western Rooter to the rescue again! I had a small underground leak which appeared to be due to a bad sprinkler valve. A sprinkler repair company determined that it was not a bad sprinkler valve and thought it was due to a leak in the main water line. Daniel and Alex dug down to find that the leak was coming from a very old (at least 36 years) broken pvc line. After much testing and head scratching to try to figure out where the water was coming from, they decided to "chase the pipe." After much digging, they found that the very old broken pvc pipe was hooked up to a sprinkler valve that was buried 18 inches underground that had not been capped--only turned off. Roots from a nearby tree had opened the valve which caused the leak--crazy! The current sprinkler system has been the same one since we moved into the house in 1988. It took 36 years for the underground leak to occur!"

"This is THE company to use. I had an old 1907 wooden house sitting on a decaying brick foundation and needing a sister foundation installed and a complete seismic retrofit. Alpha was very timely with their bid and flexible when I needed help with the budget. All the way through the process, every single person at Alpha was extraordinarily good at customer relations, returned emails immediately, and stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. Whenever there was a slight change to the original plan due to permitting or a plumbing adjustment, Alpha was very proactive and made sure everything was communicated clearly and promptly. The project went on somewhat longer than estimated due to permit changes and a short weather delay but was still finished in a timely way. My home is our family's largest asset and it is a great relief to now know it is sitting on a solid foundation. "We moved into our house a year ago and had spent this past year figuring out how to re-landscape a large slope area where most of the plants were dead.  We were concerned about erosion & mudslides but also didn't want to use a lot of water for the new landscaping.  I worried that any drought tolerant plants would be "desert like" as I really don't like that look.  We wanted a more tropical look as it matches the house.  I met with several landscapers but Tom stood out due to his experience, knowledge, and the sense that he was really addressing our concerns and meeting our budget.
My husband and I were impressed with his extensive knowledge of plants and we now have a gorgeous slope that looks green, colorful and not like it will only require once a week watering!  Tom was on the job site everyday making sure all was going to plan although I thought his workers were extremely professional, hardworking and neat.  Despite all the debris that had to be removed from the slope and all the dirt and plants that had to be brought in, they kept our sidewalks and pool clean. Tom really took ownership of the project to make sure all the sprinklers were getting where they needed to be.  
We would definitely recommend Tom and would hire him again.
