"I am very happy with the result of Cal Preserving's work on my patio deck.  A very good value for money in my opinion.  Bruce Watkins was responsive to my request for a quote, and did his best to get the work done in a timely manner.  Cal Preserving is busy (and good for them!) so it took several conversations to get the work scheduled.  I appreciated the fact that Bruce wanted to my job when the crews would be in the area doing other work.  My job was small and able to be completed it in two days. I was impressed by their honesty about my deck not needing to be sanded, which saved me at least $400.

"We have a patio area with a translucent roof and wanted to have more protection to be able to area in cooler weather. The roof has a slope so a triangular shaped transom was also necessary above the curtain rods. The estimator created a design and recommended hardware. In addition to the curtains, Acme created and installed 2 awnings. We visited the showroom / factory to choose our fabric and were very impressed with their work on display. During installation one of the transoms did not quite fit and it was very quickly remade and installed. Everyone we met at the company was courteous and professional. We highly recommend this company.

We do pool decks, drive ways, walkways, patios, coping around the pool, retaining walls with rock, travertine, or stucco, concrete steps with or without rock/travertine. We specialize in exposed aggregate concrete (pebbles on the concrete). Types of concrete we can do are broom finish, color, sand wash finish, stamped, exposed aggregate and base concrete with cut stone or travertine on top. We also do concrete demolition, grading and dirt removal. Among those things we also do paver's, fire pits and use bricks in our work, along with repairs and footings that we do as well.
