"The three movers who came to work with us arrived on time and were very nice gentlemen. It took about half an hour to take the piano out of the apartment and load it in the truck.  When they finished moving I checked everything and it was absolutely without any scratches or something. Super nice and reliable service."

"The staff of Redlands movers exceeded our expectations. They hustled all day long while simultaneously being careful with our items. Each worker was friendly, respectful and willing to go above and beyond. Not a lazy bone on the team. We will never do another move without Redlands movers. Awesome job well done."

"Jorge and his team were phenomenal. They drove 100 miles to get to us, brought all supplies and packing materials, expertly packed our old baby grand piano to survive a move, and were friendly, communicative, and helpful."

Piano Moving questions, answered by experts

Moving a one-bedroom apartment yourself can range from $150 to more than $1,500, depending on distance, the amount of belongings you have, and more. On the other hand, the cost of hiring movers for a one-bedroom apartment is around $1,850 on average. You’ll save money with the DIY route, but the process is much more labor-intensive and time-consuming.

Yes, you can very carefully lay down a grandfather clock to move it, but it requires a bit of prep work. Remember, all of your clock's components and mechanisms are delicate, and shifting them can cause serious damage. Before laying it down, you will need to remove these pieces, plus the weights and the pendulum.

Services typically take 1-2 hours, depending on the unit and complexity of the relocation.

Planning ahead is essential—this will give you the chance to coordinate your move during weekends or after business hours, and set up essential services in your new office before moving day to minimize downtime. Start by creating a detailed timeline and checklist for every phase of the move, from packing to unpacking. Inform your employees, clients, and vendors about the move well in advance, including any expected disruptions and how you plan to manage them. Delegate responsibilities to ensure all aspects of the move are covered. Lastly, set up the essentials at the new location first to resume operations quickly.

A reasonable moving budget for local moves is $880 to $2,540 , while you can expect long-distance moves to cost between $2,700 to $10,000 , depending on distance, house size, and other cost factors. You can calculate your relocation budget by totaling the cost of your moving services, such as renting a moving truck, hiring professional movers, and packing services.
