"We had a terible drain clog and had backups coming into our toilet and shower. We called Diamond House Plumbing and they sent Jeff out right away. He was able to clear the blockage, pulling out many roots and blasting our lines clear with a very impresive water hydro-jet system. I would highly recomend Diamond House Plumbing to my friends and family and anyone in need of professinal plumbing services. Thank you!"

"Work was done the same day after setting on an agreed price. It took one person a bit of time to install three toilets, but I’m sure it’s not easy work. He did forget to completely hook up one toilet in the lower bathroom. When we noticed there was no water in the toilet, we opened the valve and had immediate flooding in the bathroom because he did not hook up the other end of the supply line to the toilet. Isn’t that plumbing 101? Also, his caulking skills left quite a mess. It had to be redone. One of the plastic bolt covers was missing on one toilet as well."

"I spoke with them on the phone and explained the length of my line. They didn’t have the correct length camera line for my drain as it is pretty long. They refunded me for the deal."

"Evening of Valentine's Day we learned our water heater had broken.
Called Bob & Marc the next morning and had an appointment of 3 pm. They were available earlier, but I could not get out of work any earlier.
Spencer was on time and got right to work. He was very professional, careful and friendly.
He assessed that the water heater was broken, drained and removed the old one and installed the new one.
He made sure that the TPM piping was exact, fit and would last. He was very helpful in explaining what he was doing and was even very helpful in providing advice on how to extend the life of this new water heater.
He cleaned up and all that was left was a professionally installed water heater that has been working great.
Thanks for the quick, friendly service (also be sure to use the 10% off coupon found on their  Angie's list page).

"I had an excellent experience with this plumber during my water tank replacement. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and honest about what needed to be done. He explained the entire process clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The installation was done efficiently, with great attention to detail, and everything was left clean and working perfectly. The new water tank works great, and the pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find reliable plumbers you can trust, but I would absolutely recommend him for any plumbing needs"

"Overall it went well. Turned out not to be a simple job. That was disappointing but the plumber, Jesus, showed me the problems and explained how years of leaking had rusted away the base needed to bolt the toilet to. He also showed me how my tile floor was not level and he would need to use shims to level the toilet so it wouldn't rock like it used to. Jesus was very professional and polite and I trusted that I was in good hands."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

The septic installation company must follow several steps to put in a new septic system and leach field. The installer will study your property and determine the best place for the tank and leach field. The site should be away from existing structures, be free of trees, and have proper drainage and grading. Preparing the site for the tank and leach field will require significant excavation work.

To prevent septic tank problems, save on repair costs, and keep your home running smoothly, it's essential to perform regular maintenance. Have your septic system inspected by a professional every one to three years, or annually if possible, to spot potential issues before they develop. You should also have your tank pumped every three to five years, or more frequently if recommended by a professional based on your household's usage. Additionally, be mindful of what goes into your system. Avoid flushing items like paper towels, wet wipes, and feminine hygiene products. Do not dispose of other inappropriate substances, and try to avoid excessive water usage at a single time.

Yes, septic tank companies must be licensed in most states and municipalities to perform services like installation, alteration, repair, and pumping. Since laws vary by location, it's crucial to check local requirements.

Hiring an unlicensed professional can lead to poor work, code violations, and significant fines. Always verify that your chosen company is properly licensed and fully insured to avoid liability. You can use tools like Angi’s contractor licensing search to check a pro's credentials.

It's also helpful to understand the difference between licensing and certification. A license is a legal requirement to operate, while certifications are voluntary. Credentials like the “Angi Approved” badge indicate that a business meets extra standards, such as passing a background check and maintaining a high rating.

The smallest septic system available for purchase typically includes a 750-gallon tank. However, the smallest size you can legally install is determined by local regulations, and many areas require a minimum capacity of 1,000 gallons. The cost to install a small septic system generally ranges from $2,910 to $13,900. Before proceeding, it is essential to check with your local health department or consult a local septic professional to confirm the minimum legal requirements in your area.

Conventional anaerobic septic systems are the most cost-effective and least expensive type, with installation costs typically ranging from $3,000 to $8,000. For comparison, sand filter systems cost between $7,000 and $18,000, while mound systems are the most expensive at $10,000 to $20,000. Several factors influence the final price. The tank material is a key consideration; plastic tanks are the most budget-friendly option, starting around $2,900, but concrete and fiberglass tanks offer greater durability and longer life spans at a higher cost. The size of the tank also affects the price. For example, a 1,000-gallon tank costs between $900 and $1,500, whereas a larger 1,500-gallon tank costs $1,500 to $2,500.
