"I contacted M&J Prime Builders on a Sunday morning via an urgent request on Angi (Angie's List) to repair a leak in our backyard irrigation system. Javier contacted us immediately and arrived at our home in Concord with his business partner, Marcos, within 90 minutes. They were very attentive, professional, and accommodating, especially for our unexpected Sunday morning emergency. They not only repaired the leak but also addressed another issue that had arisen with our shutoff valve. Their estimate was very reasonable and accurate, and their work is top-notch. Javier is both a licensed contractor and a civil engineer. As a result, they offer a wide range of home improvement projects. "Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"We contacted Straightline Construction to replace our house’s skylight that had a large crack in it (previously plastic). Phil, the Project Manager, was extremely professional and measured our skylight for replacement. He provided us with multiple options, from a standard glass replacement to skylights with shades (manual or solar). We decided on the skylight with a solar shade. Straightline made the process extremely easy. We absolutely loved how it turned out, very high quality. The two person installation team did a great job and even installed the remote to open and close the shade in our kitchen. While installing the skylight they also sealed exposed nails and painted and resealed flashings. I highly recommend Straightline for your roofing needs. (I forgot to take before pictures of the inside of the old skylight. You could hardly see out of it and there was a large crack. Now we see clearly out of it.)"
