"Steve and his crew installed (2) pre-hung fiberglass exterior doors. They did a great job of making sure everything fit and also did a very good job around the trim of the doors outside and inside. Steve will also do some pre-hung solid core doors throughout our home. When this is done I'm sure that it will be done with quality and care as he has shown on the exterior doors. By having these exterior doors complete we are able to seal up the house as before with the old doors they were hung incorrectly and we were able to see through the seals and allowed air to escape."

Inspect for burnt-out bulbs, secure connections, and protect from water exposure to maintain functionality.

Safe installation involves using appropriate anchors for weight and weather-resistant fixtures, ensuring all connections are secure and safe from water exposure. Removal should be performed carefully, avoiding pulling or yanking on cables to prevent damage to lighting and home exteriors.

How many string lights can be on one outlet depends on a number of varying factors, including the total wattage of your circuit, the type of lights, the energy needs of the lights, and cord specifications. It’s better to play it safe here to protect your circuit, so figure out the max wattage of your circuit, compare that to the lights, and move on from there. Generally speaking, LED string lights require less energy than incandescent bulbs, translating to a higher number of lights per circuit.

There are several ways to hang Christmas lights safely. Here are some key Christmas light safety tips to keep in mind:

  • Always use Christmas lights and extension cords that are rated for outdoor use.

  • Don’t overload outlets by plugging in too many lights.

  • Opt for LED lights for a safer display that saves on energy costs.

  • Do not use old or broken Christmas lights.

The simplest way to put Christmas lights on any metal surface is by using a magnetic hook or clip. You can also purchase magnetic lights, which should easily stick to any magnetic surface. Keep in mind that not all metals are magnetic. In that case, you’ll need to use a different clip.
