"The two sinks were back to back on a wall and the drain pipe made a T connection to drain out to the sewer. This was impossible to snake out so the plumber opened up the walls under each sink and replaced the T connection with a junction that has a snake access capped entrance that sticks outside of the wall. Unscrew the cap and the pipe is at such an angle that a snake could work properly. It took a couple days to replace the drywall and paint the opening made but the drain now flows freely."
"Called Sal's for help. Bryan came within an hour. We decided to start with the easiest fix yesterday, which was to replace the seal on an upstairs toilet (30 years old) above the leak. Bryan was courteous, knowledgeable and professional, The seal was almost gone. Although initially, we thought that fixed the problem, the leak seemed to resume later in the day, so called Sal's back this morning for a more aggressive approach to finding the source of the leak. They sent Nick within the hour, who also was experienced and professional. He carefully draped the area and then removed the ceiling which was wet. Fortunately, the leak was from a pin-sized hole in the cold water line right above the spot. He left to procure supplies to fix the copper pipe without having to solder and risk more trauma to the 30 year old pipe. Leak was fixed within 2 hours of his initial arrival. He cleaned up. Ed who was the plumber who came to our house and installed our new toilet and was the one who pointed out the musty smell at our front door and proved my suspicious correct when he suggested there could be a broken pipe underneath the house. Sure enough we indeed had a broken pipe, and it was the sewer line and it was underneath our house. He immediately called Giovanni and they both went to work as to analyze the problem and make suggestions of what needed to be done. Giovanni expertise and skills are excellent and told us exactly what needed to be done in order to fix the broken sewer line. Since it was later in the day, they couldn't work on the line until the next day. Ed ended up finishing installing our toilet and then came another problem. The toilet we purchased was defective and Ed was nice enough to come back after we came back from Lowe's with another toilet, so he could finish the installation. Ed did a fantastic job in installing the new toilet. He was courteous and highly skilled. Plotke Red Lilly Plumbing crew did a fantastic job with our toilet and the broken sewer line and there prices are really quite reasonable and I will definitely recommend and use them as our main plumbing company again.
