I had an older water heater to replace in a difficult location (crawlspace). Jake was very good at removing the older water heater and replacing it with a new one. Jake was knowledgeable about his job and I am a very happy customer. I would recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Worked with Jake primarily as he did the plumbing portion, and another gentleman did the drywall. Good communication, prompt, very professional and overall pleasant to work with. Price is on the mid-higher end, but I felt very confident in the reliability of the finished job, plus they got the work done quickly. If I had to cite one small cosmetic negative it would be that the top edge of the box is a tiny bit less than level, though the walls in that laundry closet were never quite straight to begin with. Would go through them again and consider for other home projects in the future.

Process went well. Jake and Shane were very friendly, professional and knowledgable, doing extra to identify the issue. Given the severity of the issue, they got us on their calendar quickly. The problem was resolved. I'd definitely use them again!

I really never do reviews but I’m so happy with the work that was done. Jake was the one that did the work and was communicating with. He communicated everything he was doing and the price. They cleaned up after the job was done. I’m going to honest it not cheap but I know the job was done right. They will be my first call if I need there services again.

they came but they left a mess. less than a year after they "did their work", we've had to hire someone else to fix everything else. he promised to help with the paperwork to get the permit, and then told me i had to handle it. and when it did not pass inspection, he said it wasn't his problem and he wasn't going to fix it. we had another plumber come to fix the new water heater he had installed < 1 yr ago. turns out he installed one that was too big for our house. it wasn't installed correctly and its loose and not fixed properly to the house. thank goodness there has been no major incident. he seemed fine initially. but f/u was very very poor.

Jake and his team are amazing. We had an insane water bill, but didn’t know what the issue was. Jake immediately figured it out that we had a busted water heater that was leaking. He quickly offered a quote with multiple options and got the job done quickly and without incident. He texted pictures of progress when we couldn’t be there and just went above and beyond every step of the way. He truly knows his craft.. he is so incredibly knowledgeable in his field. Jake with Your City Rooter and Plumbing was one of the best home repair people we have ever encountered. He was so considerate, kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Even though we have a home warranty, we hired and will continue to hire Jake instead of going through our home warranty for peace of mind that the job is getting done right, and Jake’s customer service is above and beyond. He is so quick to respond and answer any and all questions that we had.

Jake had good communication with scheduling my toilet replacement. He was thorough and showed up 15 mins early. Efficient and finished the job in less than two hours. I will definitely be hiring him again if needed.
