Small jobs welcome

"We are very pleased with Cody's work. Cody arrived on time, worked efficiently, listened to our requests, cleaned up after he pack up all our stuff. His price was fair. He is very personable. He is local and the owner of his small business - that was a factor that was important to us. We will have him back for the next hauling project."

Emergency services offered

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with A Lane Transport! They were professional, punctual, and truly went above and beyond. They carefully disassembled my bed, moved a very heavy dresser with a mirror, and transported my two nightstands with great care. They even left the space clean when they were finished, which I really appreciated. Their attention to detail and outstanding customer service made the whole process stress-free. I would absolutely book them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers."

"I was referred by a friend when my brother in law passed away. I lived in a room in his house in a 3 bedroom house. Coastal Moving Logistic came in a did a few hauling runs for us to the dump and even to do a couple goodwill drop offs. I honestly couldnt imagine what it would have been like if Coastal Moving Logistic did come in a help. Joseph was a really respectable guy, he was on top of everything and I felt heard and understood with what I needed and wanted. I would highly recommend Coastal Moving Logistic and if needed hire them to help me out. What a great experience. Took a load of my shoulders!!"

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Products that are hazardous, such as aerosol sprays, top the list of what to leave behind during a move. Avoid packing perishables, garden and garage chemicals, pool supplies, compressed gases, and combustible items. If you are trying to move by yourself, you may want to downsize so you have fewer belongings to pack and move (and then unpack).

A land-clearing project begins with assessing and preparing the property and pulling any necessary permits with your municipal building department. Clearing can begin after the project details are ironed out between you and your pro and a written contract is signed. Pros will bring out the necessary equipment and crew to first remove trees, stumps, brush, and vegetation. Your pro will then load up and haul away the project debris, and depending on the project, they may finish by grading the cleared land.

Plan on cleaning your crawl space at least once a year, though twice a year is ideal. During the cleaning, remove any debris or dust and check for potential issues like pest infestations or water damage. The sooner you catch these issues, the easier (and cheaper) it will be to fix them.

How you dispose of excess concrete depends on the amount you have left over. Since concrete hardens quickly, it's wise to have a disposal plan before starting your project. For small amounts, you can divide the extra concrete into manageable chunks. Because concrete isn't considered hazardous waste, these smaller pieces can often be placed in a dumpster. For larger quantities, you can rent a dumpster from a company that specializes in concrete disposal or take the material to a landfill or transfer station. It is important to call your preferred location first to confirm they accept concrete. Additionally, check with your municipality to see if it offers recycling services for solid concrete.

Parts of a mattress that can be recycled include the metal springs, wood frame, foam, and some fibers like cotton or wool that may be found in the fabric. Not all recycling centers accept mattresses, so call ahead. Alternatively, some mattress manufacturers take used mattresses for recycling.
