"Everything went exactly how it should have. C.J. communicated very well through the whole process and did exactly what he said he was going to do. I rented the equipment and he exceeded my expectations with how quickly he got it done. He trenched and replaced 540 feet of water line in one day. He cleared many, many trees and bushes and leveled an area for my 3,200 sq. ft. shop in two days. I cannot say enough good things about his quality of work, professionalism, and communication."

"Our first project with Rick Davis involved repainting baseboards and woodwork in the  master bath & kitchen, re-paint the entry hall, plus re-painting a kitchen wall a deep red. They arrived on time on the appointed day and a crew of 6 or 7 finished the entire project that day. They did a beautiful job and were very professional, totally cleaning up afterwards. After that we scheduled them to return for a smaller job, to "freshen"  a hallway  and its woodwork. We were very pleased and strongly recommend them."

"Aaron completed exterior painting, cleaned up wiring, installed an interior fire door, refit interior doors so they would no longer stick, replaced putty on exterior windows, and other misc jobs.  On time, professional, up front and honest about costs.  Quality of work is excellent. Gets the job done promptly, is very knowledgeable, and is easy to work with.  Prices are fair and reasonable.
Will definitely continue using his services and would have no problem recommending."

"Great work performed by a true professional. He took time to measure and line everything up so that it was visually appealing while remaining completely functional. Care and professionalism of this nature is a very rare thing these days so when you come across it as a homeowner...you never forget it. I have other projects in mind that I believe Jerry would be perfect for. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that my family and I will do business with Jerry again and will be happy to recommend him to anyone that asks if we know of a really good handyman.

"I never imagine that I can afford the services from Park Mechanical, because it seems to be a company with excellent quality, and usually quality does come with a price tag. As my HVAC systems are for rentals, I was looking for budget-priced systems/companies. I interviewed several companies, but was not satisfied either with their prices or specifications. I then thought of using a ductless system, as the central HVAC seems to be out of my budget. However, ductless systems require high technical skills for installation and Park Mechanical is one of the few companies that has the expertise for the installation. Then I made an appointment for John in Park Mechanical for an estimate. John came on time and was courteous and polite. He was knowledgeable in his trade and answered my questions satisfactorily. After he conducted a walk-through of the duplex, looking at the attic, crawl space and rooms arrangements, he then explained the size and type of system that would work best to meet my needs and budget. Instead of giving me an estimate on the spot, he sent me a detailed estimate the next day - 6 pages in total. To my surprise, his price was the lowest of all my estimates, and was actually quite significantly lower than the others. With this price, I would go for the central HVAC, instead of the ductless systems. However I wondered how they could do it at this price ( because I had checked more than 10 companies, and none of them compared to their price or specification. ) But John repeatedly guranteed their quality - all their technicians are employees and NATE certified, and they will not cut corners on the lower priced systems (like mine). The insulation and ducting for my systems would be the same as the other installations. They really live up to their promise. The final inspection from the county was a breeze - no correction. My duplex were rented. One of the tenants is a very detailed oriented electrical engineer. She commented that my HVAC system was the quietest she had ever seen and it was so quiet that she didn't notice that it was on. She even mentioned that the company who installed the system must be the best in the Sacramento areas. Besides for the unrivaled quality and price, their customer service is also top-notch. As I could not meet with them during week day, Doug came over on Saturday to meet with me, even waiting for an hour when I was unexpectedly called for something else. Their technician, Nate, is also great. His team worked diligently for 3 whole days. They were courteous and took great care to keep everything clean. Nate even performed extra service. After the existing thermostats were removed, he patched the holes and painted over them. He cleaned up everything, swept the garage and even volunteered to dump the garbage left from the previous owner ( mattress. TV, carpet, cabinets..). Ron, the installation manager, is very flexible. He co-ordinated with the electrician for the panel upgrades. When it was out of electricity for couple of days, he made a special trip to finish testing the system when electricity was on. Grady in the office is also very patient. Due to personal reasons, my appointment with the county inspection was postponed many times, 6 at least. Grady was always so cheerful to cancel and re-schedule the appointment for me. Also, when my other tenant moved in, we found out that the pilot light for the water heater was off. She tried to schedule with PG&E, but that took a week. We called up Park Mechanical, and they graciously sent someone to turn on the pilot light at no charges. A pleasant surprise came nearly a month after installation. I received in the mail a 2-years maintenance contract for the duplex, and a 10-years extended warranty for the HVAC system. Also, as my tenants performed the move-in checklist, they reported that every room was installed with a smoke/carbon monoxide detector, which I was not aware of. I have just finished the remodel for the duplex ( it is a real fixer ) and have worked with different contractors. This is one of the few who is absolutely self-direct and worry free - you just leave the job to them, and it will be done exceeding your expectation at the price and time specified. This is a great company, with a caring team of dedicated professionals, who all work together to deliver surpassing values and services to customers. I highly recommend it."

Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts

In most cases, your professional playground installer will put down a playground surface before assembling the fun-filled system. However, you should ask your installer about this service before booking an installment date. Most playground equipment installation companies offer service add-ons like leveling the area, laying down a surface, building a border to keep the surface material contained, and setting up the swing set.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.

Whether building a playground or installing a pre-made one is more affordable depends on the materials of each. In most cases, it’s more affordable to build a wooden playground than it is to buy one and have it professionally installed, but it might be less expensive to invest in a pre-made plastic playground, even if you pay a professional to install it. Wooden playgrounds tend to last longer, but as children age, they will become less valuable. Overall, it may be most affordable to have a pro install a pre-made plastic playground.

Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.

There are many different types of basketball hoops available to choose from.

  • Portable hoops are fully moveable and generally do not require assistance with assembly.

  • Semi-portable in-ground hoops have an anchor cemented in the ground and a removable post.

  • In-ground hoops are fully built into the ground as one piece and cannot be relocated after placement.

  • Wall-mounted hoops do not have a post or pole and work well when space is limited.
