He discovered the problem with the range hood. If he hadn't found it, the hood would have fallen on to the stove. So he saved me from a much larger expense.

It was intimidating to look for another handyman after our previous one retired. Joe was old school: skilled and trustworthy, punctual, his services always highly valued especially because the longer he worked with me and the people I referred him to, the more ridiculously lower his prices went. Everyone paid him above what he asked for, all the time. After interviewing at least 6 from Angie's List, it was narrowed to 3, but Andy had the best hours, considering my long work schedule. As it happened, my friend (who also has extensive work hours) needed his services urgently. So he had the garage on his brand new home done first. He was beyond happy with the pace and quality of Andy's work. He said the garage ended up looking as good as any of the rooms inside. He gave Andy an inordinately large tip and thanked me for doing the research. Andy did not expect it AND tried to return the money! Next, he took care of our dishwasher, did the installation on 2 large plasma TVs upstairs and downstairs (one was a bit more challenging) with the same professional, cordial demeanor. I had a chance to meet his equally down-to-earth wife, who occasionally helps out. Since I am quite particular about keeping our home clean for my 2 young children and elderly parents, I was thrilled when I saw how he clean everything was after the work was done. Our previous handyman was great, but I am beginning to think Andy will likely equal or surpass him. I look forward to doing more projects with him and I have absolutely no reservations about recommending him to any of my friends and family in the near future.

His workmanship has been excellent. His prices are very fair. He's been a good guy. We really like the way he's done things. He works with our schedule.
