I requested a quote regarding my air conditioner HVAC unit.  The salesman was here for 4.5 hours.  His paperwork was a mess, nor was it professional, and certainly was difficult to read as it was just scratched out on a blank piece of paper.  In addition, his quote was $4-5K higher than the other 2 quotes, who were very professional.  I should have just asked him to leave rather than tolerating him & being polite.

They've done my heat and air, heater and water cooler. They're my fave. They aren't the cheapest, for sure.

We reluctantly conclude that dealing with Park Mechanical and Lennox has been an expensive mistake for us. In July 2013 we signed an “investment agreement” with Park to install a new Lennox furnace and air conditioning system in our house, to replace the old system, at a cost of over $10,000. Then we learned that the five-year Lennox warranty would be good only if we paid Park to inspect our system periodically, to certify that it has been “properly maintained.” To accomplish this we were persuaded to join a Park program called the “Shamrock Club,” under which we have been paying Park $99 a year for periodic inspections to certify that the equipment still qualifies for warranty coverage. One such inspection, in January 2016, declared the system to be correct and operational. But in May 2016, when the first hot weather arrived and we turned on the air conditioning, it did not work; there was no cooling. A Park technician found that something called the TXV valve had failed. After several hot days waiting for the replacement part, the valve was replaced and the system worked again. The repair was considered a warranty issue, and we were not charged. Similarly, on March 28, 2017, a Park technician inspected the system, found it to be functioning normally, and declared it to be “on maintenance.” At the beginning of May 2017, however, when the weather turned warm and we turned the system to “Cool,” it failed again. A Park technician found that all the refrigerant had leaked out, and refilled it pending permanent repair of the leak. On May 15 the technician returned and told us we would be charged $238 for the refrigerant and additionally for the labor to fix the leak. This time we learned that the Lennox warranty covers only the parts themselves that fail, and not the labor or the refrigerant needed due to the failure. No leak was found, and we were informed that the next step would be to inject a florescent marker dye into the refrigerant to show the leak – at an additional cost to us of $395. This failure is due to a failure in Park’s workmanship or in the Lennox equipment itself. The cost to fix it should be covered by warranty. Our disappointment with Park also includes Lennox, which offers only minimal warranty coverage for its products. Our experience may indicate why the company has so little confidence in what it sells. Our specific issues are: 1) Having to pay extra for warranty coverage on expensive new Lennox equipment. 2) The warranty does not cover labor and other costs that are likely when warranted equipment fails. 3) Our Lennox system has failed twice in the space of a year. This is not acceptable reliability. 4) Every Park inspection of our system has declared it to be operational and adequately maintained, including those immediately before the two equipment failures.

I wasn't fully happy with this latest service, but the check-ups they did prior to that, I was very happy with.  We probably won't use them in the future because we at this moment are just changing out our air conditioning and furnace.  We have a different contractor that's going to do that work, so for annual maintenance we will probably stay with the new vendor.

Great service tech. replaced a capacitor and got us up and got us running. Cleaned the unit as well. Joined the Shamrock Club. WATCH OUT FOR THE FREE PLUMBING INSPECTION!! Was an excuse to try and sell us a new hot water system for $10,500.00. Service is good ... say no to Plumbing Inspection

As far as Heating and cooling, Park Mechanical Heating & Air.  We've had them a couple of times for annual service and they seem very diligent and professional and helpful and clean.  They're reasonably priced.  They were here last in November.  We're on an annual contract for the service but I'm not sure what it is but it is reasonable.

We had a furnace and A/C unit installed. We decided to add a cover to the outside of our A/C unit to protect it from the outside elements. The service tech drilled into the A/C unit and ruined the unit. We had the unit only about a month maybe two at the most. The wanted to replace the unit with a refurbished unit and not a brand new one. I wanted another brand new one since my unit was only a couple of months old. They did eventually end up replacing the unit with a new one about a year later. It took a lot of time and phone calls.

We are on their annual service plan. They were supposed to be getting back to me regarding a filter change and they haven't. They should have called me back and set that up and done it already. So they have missed out on something.

The heater stopped working ... last November (2014). We called Park Mechanical, because we used to have them service our HVAC system and the company we switched to went out of business. We were told that the very expensive system (HVAC) would reduce our heating/AC bill dramatically. This has not been the case and I suspect that we were victims of "big house syndrome" (people who live in big houses must be rich - but we're retired now). Frankly, that is bad enough ... but the system was installed in November 2014 and I am still dealing with them. They didn't submit the paperwork for our rebate (something promised with the sale of the system) until March 2015. The first County inspection wasn't scheduled until May 2015. That inspector found issues which required additional work on the A/C system. It took over a month for that repair and they didn't schedule the second inspection until August 2015. That inspection found issues with the heating system. Again, a delay for the repair crew to come out. I have had to initiate all contact with them. In fact, there have been many many many phone calls and lots of "I'll get back to you by the end of the week." I finally threatened to take the issue to the Contractor's Licensing Board, which got their attention. However, the most recent repairs were done on August 31st, and I have yet to have anyone contact me about a re-inspection. And, by the way, I had an A/C bill of well over $300 this summer ... we do not run the system night and day. The system is clearly not as energy efficient as was claimed by the salesperson. I have held off on writing a review, because they still needed to complete the work.
The installers have been very friendly and efficient. However, the service after the sale is deplorable.
To say that I am unsatisfied would be an understatement.

Two techs arrived on time. They wanted to check out my water heater first. They tried to convince me it was old (it isn't) then tried to convince me it was installed wrong (it wasn't). We then went into the house where they flushed one toilet and looked under the kitchen sink. Even though i have 3 additional bathrooms with toilets they were done and left. It was so painfully obvious they came only to sell me a new water heater. I immediately cancelled my service contract with them. I have had them service my air cond/heater since they installed it about 11 years ago. I noticed that unlike previous ownership this new group tried to sell me something on every trip. I went for the new duct work because I figured it was over 30 yrs. old and didn't realize I was now dealing with a large corporation instead of a family owned business. The next trip they said I needed some kind of compressor booster based on the units age. 2 other companies said that was nonsense. Now the fake plumbing visit. Even though there service contract was very reasonable I don't trust them anymore and won't have them back in my house.
