"Jake and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, they did an excellent job paving approximately 10,000 ft of asphalt. My wife and I wanted to make several changes/editions after his crew was out here and had started prepping the ground and Grading. They were very accommodating making every change we wanted happen! We highly recommend Sacramento Paving, and would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"Alvaro Mantar did a very good job replacing the concrete apron in front of our garage and blending it into the existing sidewalk. About 110 square feet. Project included correcting the grade for better drainage and hauling away the debris. Job was done in one day and at a very reasonable price. I should note Alvaro was the only contractor who came on-site before submitting a bid. Other contractors just bid based on photos."

Concrete Repair questions, answered by experts

You’ll need to reseal the foundation every five to 10 years, depending on the sealant you’ve used, the moisture conditions present in and around your home, and the condition of your foundation. Having a foundation inspection conducted before reapplication can help you catch any problems before you begin resealing. Of course, if you notice any new leaks or other moisture problems at any time, it may be necessary to reseal the foundation sooner.

Yes, all basement floors crack in response to the natural settlement of the soil around them and from concrete shrinkage as it cures, and you’ll see hairline cracks as a result. However, you should keep an eye on your basement floor to see if cracks continue to lengthen or widen or show signs of water intrusion. In any of these cases, the problem is likely not settling or shrinkage, and a professional repair is necessary.

Yes, sustainable mixes and sealants minimize environmental impact.

Regularly inspecting your foundation—at least the visible sections—for signs of foundation issues like moisture and pest infestation is a good way to identify slab leaks early, as is keeping an eye and ear out for water damage to indoor building materials, above-average water bills, sounds of running water when no fixtures or appliances are on, and indoor humidity that causes the temperatures to feel more extreme. If you do find any issues, contact a plumber right away to check it out for you.

Yes, a house can collapse from severe foundation problems if they are left unchecked. However, this is a rare occurrence that typically takes many years to develop, and a partial collapse is more likely than a full one. Homes on hillsides or in areas with frequent washouts are at a higher risk. Barring a natural disaster or other extreme circumstances, clear signs of major issues will be apparent long before a collapse is imminent. It is crucial to conduct routine foundation inspections and address any problem, no matter how minor it seems, as soon as possible to avoid threatening the structural integrity of your home.
