"First, a big thank you to Angie's List and to the members who took the time to review North State Drywall. I could match anyone with "Contractor Horror Stories" before I purchased my membership. I was at the point of finding honest, reliable, qualified craftsmen or letting my house fall down around my feet.
From my first phone call with Joe of North State Drywall, I've been very satisiied with the courteous, professional manner I've experienced. I initially purchase a special he offered, but due to health issues, was not able to have the work done immediately. Before he offered his next special, he called to make sure there wasn't a problem and wanted to take care of his prior specials before he scheduled new business.
When I was ready to start my project, he scheduled it in a very timely manner. He arrived on time, wasted no time getting started and I can find no fault with his performance. Wallpaper removal can be a very messy project, and Joe made every effort to leave my home in good order when he completed his work.
 
As an added bonus, he is a very pleasant, courteous man and it was a pleasure th have him in my home. I would recommend him highly.

"They did a good job. Tom, the owner, came out, listened to what I wanted and gave me a bid. Talked to others but picked him because he could start the soonest and had a really good price. The paint crew showed up when expected, did a good job of removing dry rot and repairing or replacing boards that needed it. Also scraped off the blisters and any peeling paint they found. Also had them paint the front door. Four day job because it was too hot to work in the afternoon. A day or so after they finished I found a small area of dry rot they missed and another small issue. Called Tom and he had one of the original crew out the next day to take care of it. One thing, Tom just gave me a verbal bid. Didn't actually do the contract until they finished but his word was good. No games."

"Alejandro and his crew were the best! they responded quickly and made an appointment immediately. They came out twice for different estimates because I kept adding things to the request. I have 4 rooms with LOTS of wallpaper, even wallpaper on the ceiling (who does that?) and they removed it all in one day! I have made an appointment for him to come back after the walls are textured to paint. His prices are very reasonable. It has been a pleasure working with him and the whole company."

"Guys did a great job as promised.  Took advantage of a $999 special; an additional $300 for extra exterior door painting.  Approximately $1000 in paint necessary but we chose top quality paint in lieu of having Better Choice select paint.  House was power washed and some trim replaced prior to painting.  Some delays due to the high temperatures we experienced that pushed out the job a couple of times.

The service he provided of painting the exterior of three buildings & coordinating to have siding removed & replaced with another carpenter was not only fast, but perfectly timed! This was a very difficult job that was done during high temperature days on several buildings, one was a large two story building.
