"Stuff happens, and this business knows how to handle it! We had a stain on the ceiling. Ofri from BTB came over and turned on the water from the upstairs bathtub and then the shower stall. The ceiling became moist after the shower was turned on. Ofri then came back with a plumber. He turned on the upstairs bathtub. After they left, water dripped from the ceiling. Ofri had the plumber immediately send over a team for a service call. They broke open a hole in the ceiling and found that a pipe leading to the bathtub was so rusty it had holes. They took videos showing other pipes leading to the bathtub were also very rusty. While the team was still there, Ofri gave us prices, sent over the paperwork and the pipes were replaced within a of couple hours. Fabulous! Ofri had thought it would take a lot longer to complete the plumbing work. Therefore, her pricing did not align with the actual work performed. She brought in Alon, who substantially reduced the price to our satisfaction. Their responsiveness and reasonableness earned them my highest rating. Thank you Ofri, Alon and the BTB team!"

"I did not fully know this about me, but I am the client from H***. However, Mr Gino and everyone at imperial remodeling went above and beyond any expectations I could have had. And I am a perfectionist; which does not exist, but no one could have gotten closer than these guys. We did a complete remodel of three bathrooms floors, walls paint etc. I’ve had custom glass installed. And they built out a whole new bathroom for me without destroying the design and functionality of my beautiful mid-century modern home. I am definitely going to work with them again. "We started the process of building our detached ADU at the beginning of 2022. We hired an Architect, who drew up a plan to build a 1200 sq ft, 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house. After 14 months of waiting and addressing revisions required by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety we got our permit in “Ready to Issue” status. While waiting for city approval, we all started looking for a fair, reliable and honest contractor who would do good/solid construction. We started the process of interviewing contractors and getting bids for the job. After several meetings and several bids, we met Micky Kanian with “AGA Construction”. We found Micky on Yelp. One of his references took us thru an ADU that Micky and team built for his elderly mother-in-law to live in. This family could not say enough good things about Micky and team. They took us thru the property and explained their experience in great detail. We saw another beautiful AGA project, a 5k sq ft + project that was in progress and really knew that day that we’d found our contractor. We weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger for personal reasons, so we put the project on hold. Meanwhile, we continued to collect a couple of other bids that were already in progress. During this process, AGA kept in touch with us. They checked in every few weeks or so, without being pushy or intrusive. After a delay of about 9 months, we decided to move forward with AGA construction. No one is a tougher critic than me. I was dreading this project because of the amount of stress that I knew we’d be under. Both financially and mentally. We’ve all heard and/or lived thru the horror of a construction project gone wrong. I won’t bury the lead any further. We love our ADU!!!!! We started the project on Jan 31st of 2024. We were told that the project would take 6-8 months. We lost the first 6 weeks or so with the heavy rains from last year, but even with that delay, we were mostly done with the project by the middle of August. We ran into the “expected” unknowns and surprises – all dealt with fairly and quickly by Micky and team. I would like to call out Joachin who was amazing. We always felt like we were in the best of qualified hands during this entire process. All inspections were signed off, the last checks were written, and we now have a gorgeous new home behind the main house on that property. We were so happy with the project and trusted Micky and Joachin so much, that we immediately launched a second project of gutting and renovating a very large master bathroom for my In-Laws. That job started on September 23rd and was done the first or second week of November as promised. It would’ve been done sooner, but we had a little “client indecision” that cost us about a week or two. All in all, I would highly recommend Micky and his crew, and we plan to use them for as long as they are in business or until my family and I run out of projects."

From the beginning, the entire team was courteous, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. The planning phase felt collaborative, not pushy, and they actually listened to our needs (we cook a lot, so layout and storage were huge priorities). The construction phase went more smoothly than we expected — the crew was organized, the noise was kept to a minimum, and everything was done in a timely manner. We love how the final space looks and feels — bright, functional, and stylish. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"After meeting with a few different contractors, I went with 1 Degree Construction because Thai just got it. He didn’t try to upsell me or push a trendy design—he actually listened to what I needed and helped tailor the kitchen around my family’s lifestyle. They were incredibly professional and the crew was surprisingly quick and efficient. What stood out most was the communication—I never had to chase anyone down for updates. Everything from demolition to final installation ran smoothly, and the final result blew me away. The cabinets are solid wood, not some flimsy prefab stuff, and the tile work looks like something out of a magazine. I honestly enjoyed the process, and that’s not something I thought I’d say about remodeling."

"5++ stars! My home's exterior was cracking due to a poor job prior and drainage issues. Tom and Adam and the team not only gave me peace of mind moving forward with drainage, put in gutters, and re-did the entire exterior of my home (stained wood and stucco), but made it beyond beautiful!! They were communicative, timely, so easy to work with, and the end product is gorgeous. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a construction project done and can't wait to use them again on my next project!!"

"Our experience is identical to what other reviewers shared. And yes, you should run from this company as fast as you can. Do not buy what Abraham shared that the payment must be made when the inspection is passed. Check the Business and Professions code yourself, the payment only needs to be made when the job is completed. It is very COMMON that the job is not even done or poorly performed even the inspection is passed. Here are the issues that multiple families including us run into with this company:: The project was delayed for over 9 months. No one manages the job. He often employs young men from his own Jewish community. They are enthusiastic but had no prior experience. The worse part is that they don't get paid. Two of them even set up a new construction business knowing Abraham will never pay them. Subcontractors can put your house on lien also. Many reviews you see on Yelp, Google, Angi are NOT genuine. Even the references are fake with hindsight, we were given 2 references. One reference shared the exact same accent as the PM. The other reference was initially happy with their work, but then reached out to us and shared a similar horror story with them like what we experienced. You will lose a lot of $$$ on materials as the subcontractors will somehow leave a thousand dollars worth of quartz at home. Maybe they want to compensate for the money Abraham owed them? Let me tell you, reordering materials is not fun."
