"We recently had our bathroom remodeled by Be Home Remodeling, and I just wanted to share how happy we are with everything. Pouria, our project manager, was great — super organized, always kept us updated, and really listened to any concerns we had. Any time we needed something or had a question, he handled it right away. The crew (Manuel, Isaí )did an awesome job. They worked cleanly, were respectful of our home, and the quality of the work shows. The bathroom turned out even better than we expected, and we honestly love how everything came out. Overall, it was a really smooth experience, and we’d definitely recommend Be Home Remodeling and Pouria if you’re planning a remodel."

"GREAT. Dave with a business name of "I'll Handle It" really did handle everything. To begin with, Dave was right on time, he was dressed neatly and had a good appearance. He had all the tools/equipment needed to complete my tiny job. I needed a floating shelf removed and a new one hung and to assemble a book case. After the book case was assembled, I needed 3 more shelves installed in open spaces of the book case. I also needed some 2 shelves installed that would act as support so some of the bookcase shelves wouldn't sag.... Dave was able to do all of my requestes with ease. When he was finished, Dave removed all of the trash. If I need any other items hung or assembled, I will, without a doubt, Call Dave as like his business card and the name of his business say "I'll Handle It". and that is exactly what he does. P.S. he also had a great sense of humor and made me laugh. THANKS DAVE... you are the best"

"I hired C&H for a whole-house deep clean. Scheduling was easy, less than a week. The owner, Al, and his crew have been terrific; thorough, responsive, careful and hard-working, The price was affordable and the place looked great afterwards. I've never used a professional service before C&H. I began with the deep clean as a first step, and was so pleased with the results that I decided to have them back on a regular basis. I look forward to spending less of my free time cleaning. Lucky to have found them, and confidently recommend them to others. Included dusting and/or cleaning: wood floors, coated-concrete floors, cabinet/drawer faces, furniture, doors, bathrooms, mirrors/windows, sills, appliances, etc, etc."

"I contracted Joe and TNT Design and Build for a bathroom remodel, along with a bedroom vanity sink, and could not be more pleased with the results. We removed a tub/shower combo and turned it into a standing shower with frameless glass doors and sandstone tile throughout. The crew worked so hard, but the result was amazing! He also did the flooring, baseboards, cabinets, and countertops. Any time I had a question, Joe was quick to answer. The complete job from start to finish took 2 weeks, which is exactly what we were told. I would recommend these guys without hesitation for anyone who wants quality work done to their home."

"We purchased a 48-year old, one story house that needed a major update before we moved in. We did a lot of homework on creating an "Aging in Place" beach house for when we retire and DM Building basically re-built the entire house for our future needs and family's enjoyment. To say we took the original architect plans and kept adding new ideas would be an understatement! We more than doubled our original contract cost because we were enjoying the process way too much (plus Danny made it way too easy for us)!
We added a laundry room, a new master bedroom, a master bathroom and a walk-in closet. Right outside the sliding glass door in the master bedroom are stairs going up to a huge deck with a panoramic view of the ocean and mountains. We have an indoor poolroom with beautiful LaCantina doors that slide open from the kitchen and family room making an eye-popping statement when you walk into the house.
DM Building has their own electricians and plumbers as employees so you don't have to wait for outside contractors to make time for you. We have all new electrical wiring including IT wiring connected to a media closet for all the entertainment boxes, pool equipment, solar equipment, computers, modems, etc. keeping it all out of sight. They installed new plumbing lines and fixtures, electrical fixtures, ceiling fans, appliances, new windows, doors including beautiful, heavy pocket doors and new hardware throughout! They raised the ceilings and widened all the door openings.  The drywall textures and painting are exceptional. The exterior is a beautiful suede-look stucco with the perfect accent of stone below Hardie Shingle Siding.
There are so many things that DM Building does to make the job look seamless, in a timely step by step process. They installed a tankless water heater, a full house water filtration system, new heating and cooling systems, a new roof with a lighted cupola and new sidewalks and patios with new vinyl fencing surrounding the property. Solar was also installed and because of all the new energy efficient features that DM installed, we are already seeing the meter going backwards!
DM employees made the construction process much easier to deal with the stress. We lived close enough to come over every day to see the progress so we bonded with a great bunch of guys, Danny, the owner, is great to work with and only a phone call away and if you're lucky enough to have Scott as your job supervisor, you will truly enjoy working with him. It was a long year but there is no comparison to the old house we bought and the lovely home we now live in, thanks to DM Building!

"I have a pretty old master shower that had started leaking a bit which caused some mold issues with some trim around the wall near the leak. Also, the shower caulk has been damaged to the point where it needed to be replaced along with the shower door which was the main source of the leak. So, it was time to get things looked at by a professional. Didi came out and gave a very thorough look at my issues and recommended I get the shower door replaced, caulking re-done, and baseboard trim replaced from the damage that was there. He also suggested I get the drywall in the damaged area replaced, which was a must at this point. Communication was great with Sheiner Construction and Didi. He worked extremely hard getting the right people involved in my project. This being one of my first BIG projects for my house, I had a few companies come and look. Sheiner Construction was the most reasonable and the repairs suggested by Didi made the most sense. Didi maintained great contact with me, keeping me up to date with what materials I was responsible for vs the contractors. Overall it was a fantastic experience, and I am already lining up some more projects for Sheiner Construction to handle for me. It is my understanding that they literally will do any job, small or large. Fantastic experience! Thanks to Didi and Sheiner Construction for putting my worries at ease and doing a great job on my project! Get ready, I am lining up a lot more stuff for next year."

"We hired McCormick Home Builders to remodel our living room, and we are beyond pleased with the result. The team was professional, worked efficiently, and Aris design ideas made a huge difference. The room feels so much brighter and more spacious. This was the best decision we made for our home, and we were already planning our next remodel with them."

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

Yes, new bathroom cabinets made from a quality material can increase home value. Updated cabinets enhance the overall look and functionality of the bathroom, making it more appealing to potential buyers. Additionally, they create a sense of cleanliness, an essential factor for homebuyers. Investing in new cabinets is a cost-effective way to modernize your bathroom's aesthetics and usability, which is a win-win for your home's market value.

It is typically cheaper to buy stock or semi-custom cabinets than to build custom ones. The price difference is significant:

  • Custom Cabinets: Cost between $500 and $1,200 per linear foot. This price is affected by materials, size, design complexity, and door styles. For instance, a simple slab door's materials might cost $60-$70, while a decorative mullioned glass door could be $100-$200.

  • Semi-Custom Cabinets: Cost between $150 and $700 per linear foot.

  • Stock Cabinets: Cost between $100 and $400 per linear foot.

While buying pre-built cabinets is more cost-effective, building custom cabinets allows for full modification to fit unique spaces, such as rooms with high ceilings or unusual layouts, which stock options cannot accommodate.

It can take anywhere from two to six hours to install bathroom cabinets, depending on the complexity of the project. Keep in mind that this doesn’t include the time to build custom cabinets if you go that route. You can also expect the project to be on the lower end of the range if you hire a pro, as opposed to DIYing the task.

It’s much less expensive to build your own garage shelves, and you’ll still get stable, long-lasting, and sharp-looking shelves. Garage storage systems cost between $615 and $2,635, with the national average of about $1,455. Building DIY garage shelves typically costs less than $500, and the quality of a DIY garage shelving unit will almost always be higher than what you could buy premade for the equivalent price.

Some municipalities require permits for wall-mounted furniture installations, particularly when structural modifications are necessary. Always make sure to check local building codes before starting your Murphy bed installation project. Your Murphy bed installer will be familiar with local codes and handle the permitting process, ensuring your project complies with all relevant regulations.
