"Bait and switch. I obtained multiple quotes for my foundation. Dalinghaus Construction quoted me 19 piers to stabilize my home. I questioned why their competitors were quoting me over 30 piers; and they reassured me I was being over quoted by their competitors. Long story short, I went with Dalinghaus. During construction, a rep (David F) came by to drop off some tools and found that 19 piers would not be enough. They said I needed 14 more piers (totaling 33– same as their competitors). I’m stuck because I cannot leave my home half stabilized. No other reputable company would complete the job if another company started it. I was obligated to move forward with Dalinghaus. No one called to apologize for the misstep. They invoiced me and could care less how much this would affect my family. They proceeded to install14 more piers but left 14 large holes— they said backfilling was not part of the scope of work, while the original 19 were backfilled. Insanely strange why they think I wanted 14 large holes at my home. So this is where they gave me a “discount.” They backfilled the holes for free. Free? It should be included in the work. All in all, why do I have to pay for a mistake of this magnitude? I’ve tried to work it out with them peacefully but they have not provided me anything that would make this right. Only excuses why they should not compensate me. They have no integrity. They only care about their reputation at this point (they want my bbb review taken down). I would like to be compensated for the 14 additional piers that were missed from the original quote. 14 additional piers is a completely new job, not a “new work order.” They are the professional and should have done a more thorough assessment to provide me an accurate quote. Their competitors seemed to have done so but I was sadly duped by Dalinghaus. They baited me in and switched the price after the work started. $38k is a lot to lose. I have 2 small children and a home that needs to be completed. Ps. I’ve been waiting over 2 months for a resolution."

"Set up an appointment with Sabrina. Creative D&B emailed me the day prior to confirm (from Lior Scott), which I did confirm in an email reply. The appointment passed without a call or email. I both called and emailed asking if they were planning on showing up - no response at all. It is now the day after, 3:40P local time and I have still not heard from anyone from Creative D&B. I don't see how someone would want to do business with a company that treats people with such disrespect."

"* Our 2nd successful major project with Remodel Works (RW). * This Bathroom remodel was completed timely & with high quality workmanship. * The Design team made some great choices in materials that we are very happy with. * The RW pre-construction review was thorough, resulting in a good work plan & timeline that was strictly adhered to. * Excellent prep of our home. Minimized dust and protected home & furniture. * Very good communications with RW every step along the way. * Sean, Project Mgr made himself available & always responded quickly. He informed us of every delivery & each sub-contractor's visit on a daily basis. * Sean timely addressed every request or concern that we ever brought-up. Two subcontractors were required to do some follow-up. Sean ensured that the re-work was completed correctly & timely. * The one and only item discussed during the final walk-thru was completed within a couple days. * RW hit every timeline with the exception of a final day delivery of a broken glass shower door and mirrow, which was promptly re-ordered, delivered and installed within one week. * We were always assured that RW would be at our home at the time & day communicated to us by Sean. * John, an excellent RW lead worker, adhered to high quality standards & often offered on-site suggestions for better aesthetic & functional use of the bathroom. * RW workers were always courteous & cleaned-up after each work day. * Project was completed financially as expected. No surprises. Overeall, a GREAT PROJECT"

"We originally wanted to wait until our spa was fully finished to leave a review, but we just had to rave about Gabe and his team. They have been SO easy to work with—and when you’re opening a second spa location in San Diego, easy is everything. Gabe moved fast (he’ll be done by Monday—EEK!), and for business owners, time is money, so having a contractor who’s in and out efficiently is HUGE. During the project, he discovered some mold in the building. Not only did he notify the property owners immediately, but he also took care of the remediation, followed all proper protocols, and handled it all on his own. We’re forever grateful for how quickly and professionally he resolved it. Honestly, our favorite thing about working with Gabe is how he consistently goes above and beyond—especially in ways we didn’t expect, which meant a lot to us as two female business owners. We never once felt taken advantage of, which sadly can be a rare experience in this industry. To give you an idea of how fast he worked: our space includes five treatment rooms, two storage rooms, a kitchen, an office, and a lobby. He redesigned and completed the whole buildout in just over a month. He’s also a great communicator—sending us frequent updates, photos, and videos of the progress, which gave us so much peace of mind since we couldn’t always be on-site. His pricing is incredibly fair and, in our opinion, makes him unmatched in this industry. His work is impeccable, and it doesn’t break the bank. We truly could not recommend Gabe and his team more!"

Chad took every single one of my many calls. Discussed options for change orders and kept us apprised of all that was going on. Design, best understood our vision, his bid was reasonable, and his timeframe for starting the work coincided with our schedule. We very much appreciated that throughout the process Luis listened to our ideas while also giving us his expert advice. We know what we like, but he has a good eye and lots of experience. We know that his input and suggestions greatly improved the outcome of our project. We have always loved our place, but now we love it so much more. Also, Luis and his crew worked very well with our HOA association which has several rules and regulations regarding contractors and improvements. We had no complaints from the HOA nor our neighbors. That was much appreciated by us."
