"Team arrived promptly, performed work in a professional and courteous manner, removed all cutting and debris and cleaned up like it never happened. These people are tree experts, don't mow lawns or do general landscaping. If you need tree people who know what they are doing, you can rely on Chip Off The Old Block."

"Eddie quoted my price for the work and started immediately. Worked the afternoon, came back the next morning and finished the job. I had a mess of dead cactus and dried brush and one tree to trim. It amounted to 1 1/2 large trailer loads. They did a great job, everything I wanted was completed. Strongly recommend Eddie for your landscape cleanup. Will hire him again next year."

FAQs for brush chipping projects in Wittmann, AZ

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material.
