They were amazing! They quoted us a price, and stuck to it. They felt the job would take 8-10 hours, and they ended up working on it over 20 hours to ensure it was perfect. They didn't ask for any more money, they just believe in providing a good product at an honest price. These are the type of people I wish I could hire for all of our work.

Two man crew was on time. They went to work and completed the job in less time than originally estimated, cleaned up reasonable well (this is a messy process). The price was less than estimated over the phone although I had provided a picture of the job to the company before hand. Overall, this was a good contractor, at a reasonable price. Would strongly recommend.

They wet down floor, chipped off old thinset with electric hammer with 6and quot; blade. My largest concern was excessive dust and was assured there would be very little or no dust which was the case. They finished the job in 2.5 hours and expected twice the time due to very large area. I was very impressed and highly recommend them.

I have never used a company personally for concrete grinding. Working in the construction inspection industry my expectations were high from the get go. The two gentlemen, performing the service, arrived to my residence early and were very professional. After assessing the area requiring the leveling / grinding, they went right to work. They were knowledgeable of ADA specifications and went over and beyond with the work performed. I was beyond satisfied with the finish product. I felt I got my money's worth and found a solid / trustworthy company in the end.

They did an outstanding job leveling my concrete slab. Very professional and knowledgable. They also did an outstanding job cleaning up after they were finished with the grinding. Would definitely use them again.

Overall experience was very good. Crew showed up on time and did a good job keeping the mess to a minimum. They took their time and worked the floors well. They left some low spot that is noticeable in the finished product and it did exceed the minimum variance. I can see a and quot;dipand quot; in the floor next to the baseboard but thankfully you have to look for it to see it. The guys did a good job with clean-up and even gave me an additional discount for Angie's list customers that wasn't expected. All in all, I would use them again and recommend them to others.

My wife and I bought a house a year ago which had carpet in the dining room. After a year of spills and stains, we decided to rip it out and put down laminate or something. Once the carpet was gone, however, we found out why they had made such a terrible flooring choice. The floor had multiple foundations because of a remodel that were a good 1/4" to 1/2" inch different. I called one company who wanted to get a guy with a sander on it all day. Fortunately, they were flakey and nothing ever got set up. I then called Vince Merlino (great guy), who said he could do it, but I would be much better off calling Flatline for this kind of work. I called them Friday afternoon, they gave me a quick estimate on the phone, and were there to do work on Monday morning. They quickly sized up the job, told me what they were going to do and what to expect. Considering how much dust can get kicked up from this kind of work, there was very little dust or mess outside of the work area (just a little mopping needed). When they finished, they showed me the completed work and said they would come back if the flooring company had any problems. They took a little longer than expected, but didn't charge me more than the estimate which was much cheaper than the other quote I got. In short: Very fast turnaround. Punctual. Great price. Little mess. They really know what they're doing. If you need concrete smoothed or leveled, they are the right company for the job.

First never let someone do a new concrete floor when the temp is 103 degrees and wheelbarrow the concrete into the back yard area. It gets out of hand fast. Then you have to pay for grindings to get a flat new floor area in my remodel. I had to pay for 3, the first took 2 tries and 3 days. The first 2 were not good enough and I was at the end of my rope with requests, patience and dust. I decided to try Angie's list and won. The job was correctly and quickly done with the third professional person.

I was having wood flooring installed to replace carpet. Once the carpet was pulled up, cracks were found in the underlying concrete. The flooring installers (Flooring America in Chandler) called in Flatline to grind the cracks and make the concrete level enough to install the flooring. Flatline was called in the morning, and they were able to come the same afternoon to do the grinding work. Everything was finished within two hours and flooring installation was able to resume the following morning. Yes, there was a lot of dust, but there's no way to do this kind of work without it. Flatline put up plastic sheeting to keep the mess under control and they did a super job not simply with the grinding work, but with repair of the floor and clean-up. Indeed, the floor look good enough after they finished that I would have been happy to leave it bare (though I like my new hardwood flooring even more). In my case, I had never heard of Flatline (or even concrete grinders) before and it was my main contractor, Flooring America, who called them in. However, I was extremely pleased with their promptness, their professional quality of work, and their pleasant demeanor. Mike and Javier are a great team and I am delighted to recommend them.
