"Hired Johnny to help assemble a Murphy bed in my guest room. He was great from getting a quote and booking the install. When he and Colby arrived they were very professional and respectful of my space. They cleaned up after. Most notably the install is solid. (But was later able to give away the working TV), so only needed the couch and love seat removed. At 8:50am on Sunday morning, got a call from Charles of C2 Moving saying very sorry, they are running 30 minutes late. I said not to worry, that's ok. I just pulled the stuff out to be close to the door to help, and by 10:00am I saw the truck outside. "The first tech could not do the job due to an extreme allergy to my cats. So the 2nd tech from Church Services was dispatched, he arrived the next day. (NOTE: I had expressed urgency because the circuit was on the refrigerator. Physically I could not move the refrigerator in order to plug in a temporary extension cord) The short was located & receptacle replaced.NOW comes the issue: It was my understanding that "Service Call Fee" of $45 was what I was expected to pay and because I have the Total Plan, I would NOT responsible for any additional fees ( "If we can't repair it, we'll replace it" from CHW TV ad). The tech insisted (rather condescendingly) that I pay additional $ for the work performed. He did not give me a receipt. When I asked for one, he said he would send by e-mail, He didn't. I tried to call the 24/7 phone number ...NO ONE ANSWERED."

"My problem started with a roof leak during the most recent rain storm.  I called Patriot Roofing; and they sent a Sales Associate to me.  Patriot's Sales Associate inspected my roof from the outside and from the attic to find exactly where the water leak was coming from.  Patriot's Sales Associate then took measurements and said that he would be in touch with me to give me an estimate for repairs.  The next day I was contacted by Patriot's Sales Associate.  He had prepaired an estimate for me and would like to go over it with me.  We met at my place that evening.  Upon agreement of estimate price;  my roof repair was scheduled.  On the day of my roof repair; Patriots crew showed up on time and got right to work.  The first day on my roof they removed old tile and stacked it all nicely in different places on my roof to help distribute the extra weight added to slopes not being repaired.  They also removed bad felt paper and installed new felt paper and what they call furring strips to help keep tile in place.  The second day Patriot's crew showed up and reinstalled all my tiles back into position.  Once the crew was done I gave my payment to the Sales Associate."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
