Access Home RepairScott responded to the initial review and returned to do the repair correctly. The repair was done by Carlos this time and he did a really great job. Carlos and his helper sanded, matched the stain color, put in two boards, shored up the patched area and did a wonderful clean-up.
Was told the water filter casing unit was broken beause it "probably froze and cracked". Given a quote of $444.75 to repair which was for parts and labor. When I asked how much the part was they refused to break down their cost. I called the main office and was told they do not provide...
As it turned out, I had the repair done by a company I had used in the past. However, I was very pleased with my interaction with Greg's Auto Body and would not hesitate to go there again for an estimate and repair.
The service man could have replaced an expensive part, but he bypassed an unnecessary feature resulting in a repaired machine without installing a new part. We paid for only the service call.
What a wonderful company to use! He was one of the only providers I could find that was willing to service our 1950's range. He was very honest and extremely knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend the use of this company for your appliance repair needs.
