We had a full resurface done to our pool and after consultation with Cassie we visited their company site and they had displays with the majority of all the choices in material they provide for resurfacing. Then the whole plan started to be executed. The onsite Project Manager kept us informed and comfortable with every step in the process. "Billy responded to my request for a quote the same day I entered my information in Angi. He came the next day, gave me a reasonable quote and told me what all work his crew would do. I immediately hired him. Although he gave me a date they could do the work, he later called and said they could do it much sooner, if that was OK with us. I cannot say enough good about Billy and his entire crew. They are professional, efficient, friendly, clean up after themselves and are very courteous. They even covered my son's classic truck, which was near the path to get the cement from the truck to our back yard, so nothing would damage it. Any concrete work I will ever need, will be done by Ability Concrete; and I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect job at a very reasonable price. They are winners!!!"

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

Cracking, spalling, and uneven surfaces often need attention.

Mudjacking normally takes between one to three days to dry completely. The larger the project area, the more time it will take to dry. You should not walk on the concrete or place furniture or vehicles on the lifted concrete until it’s completely cured, which a pro can help determine. If you’re polyjacking instead, the polyurethane foam can take just a few minutes to dry, but wait an hour to be sure.
