"If you need tree work done pick Tree's R Us. First off they were the only company that reached out personally, and arranged for the arborist to come and evaluate my trees. They did a wonderful job on two mesquite trees in a crowded back yard. They cleaned up the yard and what fell in the wash and even cleaned up our driveway."

"José does not claim to be an arborist per se but he is a decent tree trimmer and he was available, plus his price was the best of three companies that gave me bids. He and Gilbert got two trees trimmed up and did a fine job if not an expert job (which I didn't need or want to pay for and actually...might have been just as good but how do you compare?). They did a great job cleaning everything up and he's a very nice, accommodating man as well!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

If the roots are still alive, the dead tree will usually try to put out new shoots. That doesn’t mean the tree will survive or that the dead parts of a tree will come back to life. If parts of the tree have died and turned gray or rotten, nothing will bring them back to life and they need to be safely removed.

The shepherd’s tree, native to the Kalahari Desert in Africa, holds the record for the deepest known tree roots at over 230 feet deep. Some African communities refer to it as the “Tree of Life” since it provides food, shade, and medicinal properties to the surrounding community.

It depends on where you live—but in most areas, leaves begin falling in September and continue falling until January or February. Warmer regions, such as Southern states, may see leaves fall a bit later in the calendar year. It also depends on the type of trees in your yard and their maturity.

Leaving a dead tree can expose your other trees to potential diseases, pests, and fungi, and it can also be a hazard. If your tree is dead, then you should hire a tree maintenance service to remove it. Cutting down trees is extremely dangerous, and a professional can ensure no one gets hurt and there is no damage to your property. Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 and will prevent future issues and keep you and your property safe.

There are four common ways to prune a tree correctly: crown thinning, crown reduction, crown raising, and crown cleaning. The method you choose depends on the purpose of pruning. However, making the correct cuts is a vital part of the process, regardless of your method. Pruning incorrectly can damage or even kill the tree. So, you may want to hire a professional tree-trimming company to tackle the task.
