"Quality was great. Service even better. Israel and team had finished trimming our tree and unfortunately we were not available to inspect. I contacted them later about some areas on the tree we wanted revisited. Unfortunately, they were on their way to jobs in Casa Grande. Israel drove back to west Goodyear from Casa Grande after finishing their jobs as the sun was setting to attend to our requests. And, he took extra time to educate us on maintenance after a long day. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE."

"I recently hired Premier Electric for some electrical work, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Sergio was professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. The price was fair, the work was done quickly, and the quality was excellent. I’ll definitely be calling Premier Electric again for any future electrical needs. Highly recommend!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

For safety reasons, leaning trees are best removed by a professional, as they may often tear away from the hinge, causing you to lose control over where the tree falls. If you choose to cut down a tree leaning slightly, avoid cutting off root protrusions before you start. Make your hinge a little longer than usual by cutting it deeper (up to 30% of the diameter) and applying a wedge into the felling cut on the side the tree is leaning. Stand away from the direction the tree leans while making your felling cut.

If executed correctly your tree should survive after being transplanted to a new spot. However, effective transplanting requires six months, careful root pruning, safe transport to the new location, and replanting in prime soil conditions. You’ll also need an appropriately sized root ball for a complete tree transplant. A good rule of thumb is that, for every inch in diameter, your tree’s root ball needs to be around 11 inches. So a tree with a diameter of six inches needs a root ball of approximately 66 inches.

Pruning trees during the summer can be a bad idea because the new growth will take place during the hottest months of the year, which can stress your tree out. Similarly, pruning during the early fall can be a bad idea, too, because you’d be stimulating new growth when most trees are aiming to go dormant.

Pruning recommendations will vary by the type of tree, but generally, waiting until winter to prune your trees is a good idea.

Professionals ensure safety, prevent property damage, and handle debris efficiently.

The best time to cut down a tree is during its dormant season, typically in winter or early spring, after all the leaves have fallen. Removing a tree during this period is advantageous for several reasons. Frozen ground helps secure the tree stump, protects the surrounding landscape from damage, and reduces the risk of the tree falling in an unintended direction. With the leaves gone, there is less risk of the tree's foliage getting tangled with other trees. Additionally, since this is often a slower season for tree services, you may be able to hire a professional at a lower rate. This dormant period is also the best time for tree trimming.
