With temperatures approaching 105°F, and a blazing sun, more than half a dozen workers toiled throughout the day to trim approximately 15 large trees and remove half a dozen smaller trees and bushes that were no longer viable. And, after all that, they raked and cleaned over 1 acre of desert landscaping. Their work product was exceptional at a most economical cost. All of the workers were engaged throughout the day, and the management was present to supervise throughout the operation. I was so impressed with this service that I will, no doubt, utilize them in the future, as well. I would highly recommend All-Star Tree Service for small or large jobs. If executed correctly your tree should survive after being transplanted to a new spot. However, effective transplanting requires six months, careful root pruning, safe transport to the new location, and replanting in prime soil conditions. How often and long you should water a tree depends on the species and if it is mature or newly planted. The amount of water is also based on the tree's size. A good rule of thumb is approximately 5 gallons per inch of the trunk's diameter.

Adjusting watering to the recommended suggestions for the tree type and weather conditions is vital. For instance, watering trees during a drought is necessary, and you may need to water more frequently than usual.

Unfortunately, most of the time you’re out of luck if a neighbor’s tree blocks your view. You don’t have a right to a view, so if you have a tree that’s near the property line but on your neighbor’s property, you can’t cut it to be able to take in a majestic mountain or a beautiful sunrise. In some communities, however, there are ordinances protecting scenic views. Checking into your local laws can help you determine your rights in this situation.

While it’s best to have access to large, healthy, strong trees in a safe position, treehouse living is still possible without them. Contractors can fit tree posts to build the structure onto or use posts as additional support alongside the trees themselves. If you’re in doubt about the suitability of the trees on your land, consult with a local treehouse builder before you start the project.
