Dustin was professional and oversaw every phase of the project. He was candid about the timeline and finished in the estimated time. I have worked with contractors on several large and small scale projects and am meticulous and probably hover to the point where I might be in the way. Dustin not only tolerated my behavior but walked me through the material options for reconstruction, worked with my wife and me on our design, and took care of explaining pricing options and time differences between the different products and designs. He promptly responded through text and at any hiccup called me immediately and informed me of my options. TraVek IncTravek, Inc demolished a Four Seasons modular sun room under my covered porch and rebuilt a lovely Arizona room with standard construction including a raised foundation and fully framed walls. The quality of construction was excellent and surpasses that of my 30-year-old UDC track home. The room, about 400 sq ft, included 4 dual pane windows, 2 Arcadia doors, one standard door, & tile floor. The room is a lovely and practical addition to my home. My only complaint is they gave me a too rosy picture of the project duration which was 75% over the original 8-week estimate when done. Most delays were out of their control (city inspections, sub-contractor availability, etc) but I would have been a bit less frustrated if I'd had a more reasonable expectation of the time needed. All company personnel were easy to work with - particularly the project supervisor/mgrs, Mark and David. I highly recommend this builder to anyone.- MARLEIGH F.

Gene StudnickiMr. Studnicki did the finest work I have ever seen; and I have seen so much! His prices are fair and the work is always done correctly and in a timely manner. This man can do any job, not kidding! He is very professional and courteous. He kept us up to date and informed regarding the job. Honestly, he is the best. That is why the "celebrities" who live in the Phoenix area hire Gene Studnicki. Clients include former Vice President of the U.S. Quayle, Steve Nash, Disney execs, the Knight Transportation brothers, Alice Cooper, VIP Doctors, Musicians and the list goes on. Basically, if the client lives in Paradise Valley, Camelback Mountain or the wealthier areas of Scottsdale, they hire Gene Studnicki because of his prestigious reputation. Kirk Development provided not only their own excellent crew, but chose expert sub-contractors for some work, and oversaw the results so that everything was done perfectly and they made sure that I was satisfied. This responsiveness and care took the hassle out of juggling projects with a lot of different people, as overall there was a lot of work carried out over a period of nearly 5 months - and all at what I consider reasonable cost. Quite well. When I realized the bird wires were not quite right afterwards, they sent a team out to re-do them. Here an hour, now better bird-proofed than ever. Cook did earlier work for me: a tricky, almost impossible modification of counter and cabinet that ended perfectly. On all of these messy projects, the workers kept the yard and kitchen amazingly clean.

Our appliances were old and the cost to repair them did not justify the expense. The kitchen was out date with a need to demolish the old kitchen, replace cabinets, tile, electric, plumbing and install new appliance and paint the kitchen. We received prices from several contractors and through discussion it became evident that none were able function as a project manager, have access the required trades, or work with my wife to select tile, granite, cabinets, hardware and faucets. There were also concerns having strangers in our home. We selected Wolf Appliance for the kitchen. Through discussion with the Sales Associate she highly recommended Chelsea Wagner, Interior Designer/ Superintendent, with Patterson Homes LLC. Patterson Homes has a longstanding reputation of building home in the Phoenix Area and has an arm of the business the performs remolding Our first meeting with Chelsea we noted that she possessed a detailed understanding of the construction processes that we required for our Kitchen remodel and a flair for design. She was definitely someone my wife can work with. We found Patterson’s bid to be fair and accepted their proposal. The remodel would take approximately 3 weeks. For us this was a huge project. In the onset there was quite a bit of trepidation; however, Chelsea proved herself as the Project Manager we were looking for. From the start she stepped up and took ownership of the Job and in many ways exceeded our expectations. Some examples of her efforts include: • Coordinated the trades in the appropriate sequence to meet deadlines with the consideration of our schedules. • Demonstrated keen design sense in making recommendation ensuring our selections tastefully reflected what we wanted in our kitchen • Resolved challenges around wiring, faucet selection and range exhaust ductwork. • Communicated when the trades were scheduled and what task they would perform. • Dealt with change orders and finding the appropriate trade (i.e. polishing and sealing travertine floors, additional lighting, updating 20-amp service, hardware selection) • Personally, picking up materials to ensure they were available when need by the trades. • Taking calls in the evening and on weekends to answer question or address concerns. • Kept the job running while we attended a wedding out of state. We were also impressed with the trades on our job. In all instances they were courteous and respective of our privacy being in a home under construction. They were quick to correct and issues we identified. The trades were hard working. Being on the job on Saturday or working late into the evening. We never had any concerns with them being in our home. We are very happy with the Kitchen remodel, receive quite a few compliments and definitely increased the value of our home. As we consider future projects, we defiantly will have Chelsea and Patterson Homes on the job.

The results are outstanding and we are very happy with the job. A test for this company came at the end of the job and they passed with flying colors. I gave them all A's because they deserve it. The workers that came to our house were on time, very professional, and cleaned up before they left. Bill, the owner, is one of the nicest people I know. Would highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs . We were having multiple areas of our roof leaking into our home . The company we previously used would just seal some spots and tell us we were good to go yet our leaks kept happening. Mark and his crew were able to immediately identify decaying parapets that were allowing water to track in through the roof . They were able to rebuild rotting areas and re-coat. Haven’t had a single leak despite multiple hard rains since their repairs !

I picked this contractor because they are a family run business. I am glad I did because Mike, his son, and his daughter were very responsive and great to work with throughout the project. I am a retired contractor and I realize small residential remodels are the toughest. Mike kept me informed during the entire process and his family help guide me selecting the best products.
