"Eric and his crew did a fantastic job. We did a major remodel. We gutted the entire home and redid everything from the floor up. Plumbing, flooring, drywall, electrical, bathrooms, kitchen, and landscaping. His team was very professional and got work done when he said he would."

"We hired East Valley side job to replace the fascia on our house. Paul came out to give us an estimate and we liked the price and him enough to accept the bid without pricing it out with anyone else - which I rarely do. He sent his foreman Cale to head the project. He and his crew were professional, friendly and meticulous. They cleaned up thoroughly after each day on the job and did great work. We will definitely hire them for more jobs."

"We met once to review the physical site. Following that, plans were developed and they built exactly what we had envisioned. The finished product exceeded our expectations and even while done with minimal onsite supervision on our part. Doug and his team were very professional throughout the whole process and we would highly recommend them."

"I had a great experience with Infinity Builders and Ronnie. I recently purchased a home that needed some upgrades. I initially started with counter tops, but I quickly moved to can you do this and this… from electrical, plumbing and some framing. What ever my request was they were able to do it. Everything was completed quickly and looked great. Infinity Builders is the one stop for probably most of your needs!"

Barndominium Builders questions, answered by experts

While building a treehouse isn’t necessarily a death sentence, damaging the trunk is one of the ways to kill a tree. If you’re concerned about the tree, opt for a treehouse support system rather than attaching it directly to the trunk. This may involve using bolts and brackets to affix the structure to the tree's branches or establishing a standalone support system that remains unattached to the tree.

Yes, you can use a storage shed several ways, including as a chicken coop, but you'll need to make some modifications. You will have to add a chicken door, roosts, ventilation near the roof, mesh on the windows, and insulation if you live in a colder climate. Additionally, you’ll want to ensure that the shed is predator-proof so no other animals can harm your chickens. You should also add a run and nest boxes to your shed.

Yes, barn doors can be too heavy, although the limitation is usually imposed by the mounting hardware you buy and not your home’s framing, unless you’re building an unusually wide door. To keep the weight down, you can opt for 1-by material rather than 2-by material, and choose a softwood like pine rather than a hardwood like maple or oak. Check the weight limits on your mounting hardware, and always attach your door track to studs rather than to drywall anchors.

Technically, most states allow tiny homes, but it depends on the definition of tiny and whether the structure is permanent. Zoning laws regarding home size and construction are significant factors. For instance, a tiny home may be legal as a recreational vehicle in most areas, but you may only install it on a property if it complies with building and zoning codes.

There's no simple answer to which is less costly: wood or metal-framed homes. In most cases, metal building components cost more than wooden ones, while entire metal buildings cost less than wooden versions. However, regardless of the exterior framing or structure, each must meet similar building codes. This means that the costs are about the same, even considering that wood will require more maintenance than metal over time.
