Customers say: Quick response

"O.C. pools was a fantastic experience from start to finish. They resurfaced my Pool and some repairs to my field stone decking around the pool and raised the steps in the pool. All lines of communication were excellent all prompt and everything Oscar said he was going to do And when he was going to do it he did. I highly without reservation recommend him and his company for your pool or spa project."

"I've known Arturo for over 15 years. He's completely remodeled two yards and pools for us. Our family members have also used his services and were very pleased. He is always kind, professional and does immaculate work. Arturo is the go to person for landscaping and pool remodeling. In my opinion--the best!"

Small jobs welcome

"We had a chunk of tile fall off the rim of our swimming pool. They responded immediately and came out that day to give us an estimate. They also put in a handrail at the steps, drained and cleaned the pool. They not only did all the work, they ended up filling a crack in the cool deck and painting it. Later we noticed the paint color was a little bit darker than what was on there and the tile needed a touch up of grout in one place. Jason immediately was on it, repainting and fixing the grout. Jason and his assistant was friendly and explained each step. I recommend them wholeheartedly. And yes, our pool is beautiful again!"

"My 13 year old pool was in need of some pebble tech repair. I first called Shasta, my pool builder because I had a Lifetime warranty. Not so much I found out. They would not talk to me about repair but tried to push me into a total remodel... so I contacted Home Advisor and long story short hired Adam and his team for my pool repair. He called immediately, was there the same day with an estimate. I hired him and within 3 working days my pool was drained, repaired and start up chemicals added! So happy, now waiting for that magical 85 degree water temp to swim. Thanks Platinum Pool Care. I will absolutely use them for my remodel in a few years! Dawn and all her pups."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

Errors in site preparation can lead to structural failures or appear costly midway. Professionals ensure detailed, reliable home base development layouts.

To hire a land surveyor, you need to start by searching online for reputable professionals in your area. Here are a few steps to take when making a shortlist:

  • Browse land surveyor service website

  • Check credentials

  • Read customer reviews

  • Find their contact information

  • Call or email to inquire about more information

  • Ask how far they travel, if you’re some distance away

  • Find out how they charge for their services

  • Ask about schedule and turnaround times

  • Repeat these steps for one to two other services and compare pricing

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code.
