"We cannot say enough good things about R.J. who services our area in the Prescott Country Club in Dewey, AZ. Definitely 10 star service. We have a very serious pack rat infestation in our 40 ft motorhome. Most pest control companies will not touch a motorhome and will only provide service to residential or commercial structures. R.J. has a strategic plan to help us and explains everything thoroughly. R.J. s knowledge is extensive & his customer service is excellent. We highly recommend Friendly Pest Control and in particular R.J. for the Dewey, Prescott Valley, Prescott & surrounding areas. We are going to switch over to Friendly Pest Control for our residential service as well."

"I cannot give enough stars for excellent service. They eradicated an extreme bed bug infestation at our parentâ s home, also confirmed termites and treated to control that problem as well. Their ability to haul away infested furniture & carpeting prior to treatment was a Godsend because dumpsters are not allowed in their subdivision. One hire for everything made it all easier & life better! Thx"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Professional treatments can be immediate but may require follow-up for complete effectiveness, lasting several weeks.

Yes, it’s possible to have bed bugs and not find them because they hide in small spaces outside of mattresses, including baseboards, headboards, electrical outlets, clothing, and in crevices of walls. They can squeeze into spaces as small as the width of a credit card. Bed bugs can also live up to 400 days without feeding, making them resilient and hard to eradicate.

Aside from incorporating smells that roaches hate in your bedroom, such as citronella, lemongrass, or clove oil, there are a few ways you can keep roaches away at night. First, try moving your bed away from the wall, as roaches will often climb the walls and onto your bed. If you’re still having trouble, you can also purchase a mosquito tent for your bed, or hang netting from the ceiling to surround your sleeping area. Make sure it isn’t touching the ground, though, as they may attempt to climb it.

Technically, yes, chinch bugs can fly. However you won’t usually see them in flight. Chinch bugs like to stick close to the ground and they usually move around by hopping or crawling (which is why they can be hard to see). Since they don’t get much chance at flying, they’re pretty bad at it and only fly for short distances—like to nearby yards.

Scarecrows and lifelike animal decoys, such as snakes, owls, coyotes, foxes, and hawks, can initially deter rabbits. However, these tactics might lose effectiveness if rabbits learn they are harmless. Having your dog or cat roam and mark the yard with their scent can also prove beneficial. Keep in mind tactics like these work best when combined with other methods.
