"We have a very long driveway, that probably had not been repaired for 30 years. These guys did and excellent job, and customized it to make my driveway more beautiful than ever. All the staff were nice to work with as well. My wife and I are so thankful we hired them, and they were the best price also from a few comparitive quotes. Thank you Seal Right Team!!! -Randy H"

"I have a large and long circular driveway, and it needs to be repaved. I contacted a few reputable pavers for quotes but didn’t receive any calls back. Therefore, I conducted more research. Seal Right came up on the screen with good reviews, so I gave it a call. Anthony answered my call right away and would come over to discuss my project with me when he got a break from his work in progress, and he was here a couple of hours later. Anthony understood everything what my specifications were and concluded that it would be an Asphalt paving project and promised that he would fulfil my expectations. He and his crew conducted a very professional, artistical way, and engineering knowledge regarding ground leveling in coinciding with the surrounding landscape, the new driveway is well firm packed and well framed according to my specifications. They completed the project in one day and their workmanship was well above and beyond and is well worth what I paid for."

"Trust This Company. Our driveway is about 300 yards long, ending in a circular area on the side of the house where the garage is located. It is a gravel driveway with some beautiful paving stones along the way. What started out as a simple, "I need more gravel on our driveway" turned into a complete renovation including paving stones along the driveway and sealing all the new and existing paving stones, including our large back terrace. It was Phil who convinced us to go the extra mile (or three or four.) He drove me to a nearby neighbor where his team had installed a paver-driveway--well out of our price range but absolutely beautiful. The owner was outside and I could see by their interaction that they had formed a close relationship. As the work was being done, we kept worrying that we were simply paying too much. But were we wrong! The end result exceeds any expectations we might have had. (I wish I could include pictures because the difference is stunning.) People who've come by think it's an outstanding piece of work. Phil's people are terrific: hard working, friendly, and accommodating. My only complaint is that their English is not very good which led to two problems: installing the sealer twice and fixing a collapsing culvert. As a former business consultant, I've always measured the quality of a company not only by the excellence of their work but by how they handle problems. Both times, I called Phil, and he took care of the issues immediately. No questions, no excuses--just made it right. Phil, the owner, is friendly, gregarious, charming, and accommodating. He was very flexible on a payment plan. I can't recommend this company highly enough."

"I indicated I shared a driveway with a neighbor and the quote was clearly written to indicate the costs for my parking area, the shared drive and the neighbors area. The work was done very neatly. Both my neighbor and I had newly installed pavers next to the driveway and coating was applied up to but not on the pavers. Very nicely done. The cracks in the drive were also very nicely sealed prior to sealing the drive."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

An ideal driveway gradient is between 2% and 5%. Anything lower than 1% or higher than 15% can cause problems for your car or property. A driveway with less than a 1% slope increases your likelihood of flooding and water damage, while a driveway with a 15% grade or higher can be too steep for safe traveling.

Yes, permeable paving is expensive. For driveways, expect to pay up to $70 per square foot; for patios, permeable paving can cost up to $30 per square foot. Costs will depend on the type of material you choose, plus the standard labor rate in your area.

Driveways should be sloped with a minimum 2% slope—anything lower will cause precipitation and runoff to collect. A 2% slope is the equivalent of a 2-foot rise over 100 feet. One quick way to check the integrity of your driveway’s slope: no more than four inches of water should collect on the surface longer than 15 minutes after rain.

Your city or county will have guidelines about the minimum and maximum width and length of private roads. The average private road is 12 feet wide, and length, of course, depends on your property. Requirements also depend on the amount of traffic and types of vehicles your road experiences. Check with local ordinances before planning a road on your property.
