"Dear Racquel, I hope this response finds you well. Without any further dialogue I will address each matter one by one which you inaccurately listed in your review. First and most importantly one of our trucks was involved in a extremely horrific accident. This caused not only major damage to one of our vehicles, but more importantly it caused injuries to several employees. More specifically , 3 with back injuries and one in critical condition on life support. When Doug relayed this to other customers who were affected, their response was "I'm so sorry, I do wish them the best along with their families, especially those with young children." I then proceeded to inform them what actions we were taking to ensure they would still be moved. YOUR response was "HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM?" You actually shouted that quite loudly. After listening to the recorded message. Doug is not laughing at you. Out of sheer amazement at your lack of compassion and extreme rudeness, he sighed out of total disbelief. He later stated to me he was literally in shock and after you hung up, he became emotional due to the total disregard you exhibited toward the welfare of his co-workers. Second, if you would have just listened to Doug's explanation of what actions were going to be taken, like all the other customers did, you would have understood that your move was never going to be cancelled. The changes he was forced to make under those terrible circumstances beyond his control, actually would have benefited you by being LESS expensive. Other customers were very appreciative because they were able to comprehend the simple math with Doug, unlike yourself. Simply put, my waiving the minimum and adding a man, it would take less time. The only difference was to accommodate everyone, he had to make slight changes to the arrival time ONLY, ( a small inconvenience when someone is on a ventilator). You, on the other hand, were acting very disrespectful by shouting and using curse words. I also suggest you look up the definition of the word scam. Every action taken and every suggestion made to you by Doug was for YOUR benefit. My company actually LOST income because of this misfortunate accident. Because of Doug's knowledge, experience and most of all COMPASSION, not only toward coworkers but for customers as well, ALL customers were moved and at a LESSER cost! Third, Racquel you most likely are not even interested but for all others who may be reading this, the individual in critical condition is still in the hospital with a long road of recovery ahead of him. Perhaps the stress of everyday life caught up to you on that day. But I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart you will refrain from using such words at a time of tragedy in the future to anyone. To all those customers who later called just to ask how the employees were doing (complete strangers), Doug would like to say "THANK YOU. "Please take care and remember compassion goes a LONG way.
