My dining set and a big dresser were my biggest worries, but they wrapped each piece in thick blankets, secured the corners, and carried them out so carefully that I didn?t see a single scratch. What impressed me the most was their teamwork. For the upstairs bedrooms, they carried boxes down narrow stairs without hittin the walls or rushing. At the new house, they helped carry everything back upstairs again, and even asked where exactly I wanted each box to go. That saved me hours of sorting later. "Luis was hired to move my piano. What a fiasco. First, it was rescheduled the day before. Next, it wasn't Luis who came to move my piano. It was two guys that he hired on Craigslist. They said he has hired them for other jobs before. They did not have an enclosed truck but had borrowed grandpa's truck. No ramp, no tarp (it was raining). They went to the store to get a tarp. Gone more than an hour. Came back and couldn't figure how to get piano down the steps and then into the back of the truck. My 70 year old sister was out in the rain helping them and instructing them on how to maneuver down the steps and lift it up. THEY HAD NEVER MOVED A PIANO DOWN STEPS BEFORE, although the job description clearly mentioned steps. It was a 3-hour process. Then, it took them another 3 hours to get to the destination. The good news is, the piano made it there. But I would never recommend hiring this person. Not a professional. I did send him a message with my concerns and he did not respond. "
