"Was very surprised when he was able to make out the same day. It was Very hot summer day I know he was tired and at about 8pm he still came to repair the compressor on my fridge not leaving till around 10:00pm. The price was reasonable and fair without the gouging. The Work was solid and I have had no issues since. Speaking with him during the visit I learned that he was a service tech for Sears for years before starting his own business and more than likely one of the techs Sears would have sent in my area. I appreciate Mr. Brown's service and would definitely recommend his services. Thank you for your service and taking the time to help us out so we wouldn’t lose the food in our fridge. It’s nice to know there are still businesses that actually care about what happens."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

The best way to store firewood is outdoors and away from your home, shed, or garage. Stacking wood against your house can be a fire hazard and attract unwanted pests. Store your firewood under a shelter where it's protected from rain and snow but still exposed to sunlight and open air. You can lay a tarp on top to help keep moisture out.

Yes, spider webs are flammable, taking them from minor household nuisance to something more dangerous. Silk boasts no built-in resistance to fire, though it takes an abundance of spider webs to actually catch fire and spread. A cobweb here and there poses no major fire safety risk, so it’s not a cause for concern.

You can install your own fire door, but since it’s a safety measure in your home (and often the only way to passively slow down a fire), you should rely on professional door installers. These contractors know exactly what to do and how to do it, and in our opinion, their costs are worth every penny.

The most common causes of kitchen fires are leaving cooking food unattended, frying food with excessive amounts of oil, and leaving flammable objects near the stovetop.

Disposable fire extinguishers are good for anywhere from 10 to 12 years, but check the documentation that accompanied your specific model to make sure. Additionally, there are rechargeable models out there that last 12 to 20 years, but they require a professional inspection every six years.
