"I've been using this company off and on for several years. They aren't the least expensive, but I'll tell you, they are the best! I have a vacation rental and a sump pump...not a good combination. Last night, the guest reported sewage backing into the shower and bathtub. I got in touch with Beverly at 8 a.m., and she had someone at the house by 9:30. Beverly has always taken my calls these past few years, and she feels like a family member who is there to help. She is always helpful and talks me off a ledge when I'm stressed about a plumbing issue. Thank you, Beverly! Ryan was my service tech, and, like all their staff, he was prompt, courteous, and professional. He informed me about each step and took pictures to show me what the problem was and the resolution. He handled a disgusting job that almost all people would not touch. They resolved my issue, and my current guest was very happy. "**Unprofessional and Unreliable Service – Avoid Rooter Ranger** We had an extremely disappointing experience with Rooter Ranger. From start to finish, the job was plagued by poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of accountability. We feel misled, overcharged, and left with incomplete and subpar work. **Key Issues:** 1. **Invoice Inaccuracies** - The initial invoice labeled as an estimate was never updated to reflect the actual scope of work. We were charged for tasks, like concrete removal, that weren’t even performed. - Despite the work remaining unfinished, Rooter Ranger pushed to collect payment prematurely, making us question their commitment to completing the job. 2. **False Promises** - The company assured us they’d assist with the insurance process and provide a non-invasive solution for pipe repairs. Both claims turned out to be false. We had to seek external help for insurance, and despite promises, they wanted to damage our kitchen floor and we had to come up with a solution that came with additional cost unaccounted for. 3. **Dishwasher Oversight** - A critical error involving the dishwasher line was ignored until we identified it. This required additional, costly fixes that Rooter Ranger failed to cover or manage professionally. 4. **Workmanship Issues** - Structural mistakes, uneven concrete, and poorly installed plumbing were common throughout the job. For instance, toilets were installed improperly, and the master bathroom plumbing still leaks. 5. **Permit and Inspection Failures** - The permit process was mismanaged, leading to failed inspections.
