"Recently purchased home. Wanted to start a pest control service. After research, went with Bulwark for their outstanding ratings. Their service was prompt and the tech was very professional. Answered all my questions and took the time to go in detail on their service. My only small complaint was no treatments above eye level. The tech was able to de-web a few high corners and that was fantastic. But personaly, I wish I could just napalm the place and "feel" 100% sure that every nook and cranny has been treated. Outside of that personal opinion, the service itself was exemplary and would recommend it to anyone."
"We have used Western Exterminator for years, and have always been pleased. The past two years the inspector who has done the termite inspection has found termite infestation we were unaware of. My big issue is the delay between inspection and treatment. The infestation was identified on January 30. At that time we were told Western would call us to schedule treatment. On February 4 they called, and told me the earliest they can perform treatment is March 24!!! Online information states that a large colony of termites can eat 1 pound of wood in a day. So, there is the potential of a lot of damage done between now and the treatment, and also the potential for spread of this active infestation to adjacent areas of my house that will not be covered by the March 24 treatment. This near two month delay seems an unacceptable business practice."

Having bugs in our houses is quite normal. However, if you notice a sudden uptick in quantity, there's often a reason behind it. Seasonal weather changes, particularly warm to cool, drive bugs indoors as they look for comfort. Structural damage to your home can open up new ways for them to get in, and a new water leak somewhere in the house can invite them to get comfortable.
Stink bugs hate strong, fragrant scents like clove, lemongrass, spearmint, and Ylang Ylang, so you can use essential oils as a natural deterrent. (Always keep them out of reach of your pets!) In the garden, plants like lavender, garlic, and catnip can ward off stink bugs thanks to their pungent aroma. Also, avoid decorating with white, as stink bugs are oddly attracted to it.
While bleach is an effective roach killer, we don’t recommend using bleach as a drain cleaner. Bleach can release toxic fumes from your drains. Applying this chemical could cause damage to the entire drain system over time. It's better to use homemade drain cleaners or cleaners that don't contain bleach.
Rocks are less likely to attract snakes and other critters because their prey (termites, ticks, and other insects) don’t usually inhabit this environment. However, if you have placed together rocks with large spaces in between or near a source of water, you may find a snake or an occasional chipmunk seeking shelter.
Whether you, your dog, or your cat has been sprayed, Poison Control recommends using a solution of 1 quart of 3% (household strength) hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup of baking soda, and 1 teaspoonful of liquid dish detergent mixed together and immediately applied to the sprayed fur or skin to get rid of skunk smell. After leaving it on for five minutes, rinse with water. If your eyes get sprayed, rinse for at least 15 minutes with room-temperature water.
