"The come out every two months. They always treat the outside, but will spray inside if we want them to. They spray and knock down spider webs. They do a good job. "These guys are great! For the most part the regular service covers everything we need. I like that they only come every other month. Their communication is outstanding. We did have a bit of a bug problem a few years back due to the excessive rains and flooding which caused bugs to move into our house. I took pictures of the lingering pests and they were able to take care of the problem immediately. We also had a single scorpion come into our house and they had a technician out the very same day to spray the inside of our home. They are a great company to work with. We have been with them for years and see no reason to change providers."

"These guys are friendly and reliable.  They appointment is set for the same time every month, and they give a reminder call the night before.  I love the fact that they use environmentally friendly products, and they will work with you to customize the treatments depending on your needs.  Rather than spraying the whole yard with a hose full of poison, they target the necessary areas. I have used this service for 3 years and have been very satisfied with the pest control."

"They came out quickly (within a couple of days) and were prompt. They spray did as they said it would - cricket massacre! We did not experience any odor or ill effects from the spray. It has lasted over a month now and we haven't seen or heard a cricket in weeks. We've had one cockroach, but we think it came up from the sink rather than the ground. Most important - we have not seen a scorpion, which is the reason we called them in the first place.

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, rats are social creatures that thrive together in packs. If you spot a solitary rat, there are likely more nearby. Their rapid breeding cycle and ability to slip through minute gaps in walls, floors, and foundations contribute to their presence. An infestation generally entails more than eight rats. A nest typically accommodates five to 10 of these rodents. When you spot one, it is crucial to take action. Rats can transmit diseases through urine droppings and even cause renal failure through bites.

Cinnamon's warm scent appeals to many people but not to many bugs. The spice contains eugenol, which also happens to be used in insecticides. While the level of eugenol in cinnamon isn't enough to eliminate bugs on its own, the scent can be strong enough to keep them away.

You can try sprinkling cinnamon around areas where you've seen insects, such as ants and mosquitos. Remember that you'll have to reapply frequently, especially after periods of rain.

There is no exact science here, due to the nature of nests and how mice raise their young, but a good place to start is to inspect the droppings. A single mouse poops a lot, leaving around 50 droppings in a single day, likely near a primary food source. If you find only sporadic droppings, you likely have a small infestation. If you spot large mounds of droppings, you are dealing with a big problem.

Squash bugs only see one generation per year, but that doesn’t mean they won’t return. These persistent pests overwinter in garden debris, under leaves, and in nearby structures, emerging in the spring ready to start the cycle again. Without proper cleanup and preventative measures, you can expect squash bugs to come back each growing season, especially if you’ve had issues with them in the past.

Finding mouse droppings without seeing any mice is a common sign of an infestation because mice are nocturnal and skilled at hiding from humans. Droppings are often the first and most visible evidence of their presence. The location, quantity, and freshness of the droppings can help you determine where the mice are most active and how severe the infestation might be. Since mice are active at night and often travel through hidden pathways like inside walls, you may not see them directly. It's important to look for other signs of an infestation, such as gnaw marks, scratching sounds, or greasy trails along walls. If you find droppings, consider setting traps or contacting a professional exterminator to address the issue.
