"The team at Best Floor Coatings was diligent, professional and a pleasure to work with. They did an incredible job with my project and were prompt each day for the project. They even accommodated the rainy weather by coming on a Sunday to finish my job. I highly recommend Best Floor Coatings and have already provided several neighbors their contact info. "Floor looks amazing. Best epoxy floor I've ever seen. The application around cabinets and baseboards was done to perfection. cleanup was also perfect, nothing left behind. 2 car garage was completed in less than 6 hours. floor was dry enough to walk on in less than 8 hours and I parked my car on it 2 days later."

"We had a Master Bathroom remodeling where the slippery floor to the shower replaced and walls were taken to the top, a light above the shower installed along with a new high tech shower L was installed. A larger storage area was made and the entire sink and faucets were replaced in marble. We would recommend Bano and the crew to others."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

If you also need to know how to fill the gap between the floor and the baseboard, it's best to use a flexible, paintable latex caulk. Clean the area thoroughly to remove dust and debris. Then, apply a smooth bead of caulk along the gap using a caulking gun, and use a caulk-smoothing tool to press and smooth it into place. If the gap is large, you may need to insert backer rod, such as a foam filler, before caulking. Once dry, paint the caulk to match the baseboard for a clean, seamless look.

Yes. You can tile over tile if the old tile is in good shape, but this will also create a thicker floor. As a result, you may have to remove and readjust baseboards and other room trimmings and potentially even raise door heights to work with the higher floors. In most projects, it’s best to remove the old tile before installing a new tile floor.

Popular flooring types for villas include tile, engineered hardwood, laminate, and vinyl. Tiles are often made of ceramic, terra cotta, or porcelain. The flooring you choose for your villa depends on your budget, the room, and the style you prefer.

In most cases, carpeting isn’t kind to the wood that it’s attached to. Most carpet installation uses adhesive or nailing strips, both of which will damage wood. Conversely, you can choose to use an adhesive designed to be removed from wood, in which case carpeting can actually protect your hardwood stairs.

It’s possible to reuse household materials to cover floors, but they won’t provide the same level of protection as dedicated materials. They’re also more difficult to tape down and more prone to slipping and bunching up—and any dirt or debris on them could scratch or stain your floors. That being said, extra materials like these can be useful for protecting the sides of furniture and placing in areas that could use added protection.
