"I would highly recommend owner David Espinoza to anyone needing any form of yard/lawn assistance. He was fair, polite, and professional. He was here multiple days and always on time. He actually did more than I expected and it is greatly appreciated. Great job David and thanks again!"

I’m based locally and available to travel for the right job.\nMy skill set includes asphalt production, site coordination, equipment operation, and problem-solving on the fly. "Steve and Jaden were the two young men who came to do my tree removal job. They cut down and cut into firewood a very large dead pine tree. They had the job done and cleaned up in a little more than two hours. I am very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend this company. Thank you. Bob Lugo....Prescott"

"After being told there was no help for my very favorite tree, it was sick and dying quickly. I came across this gentleman Anthony, owner of Glowing Seasons. After a simple conversation he gave me hope with the knowledge he had in tree care for sick trees. I decided to hire him and his services. My tree is looking lively, and has tons of NEW growth. Since, I have had him working and on other projects in my yard and I cant express how happy I am! He has done the following: Tree Services ( purple plums, and sycamores), added a large patch of new seed and soil for grass, and monthly yard maintenance contract, added in an irrigation system into new gardening area and in above ground planters. I currently have Anthony hired to maintain my yard and would not have it t any other way. He extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He is professional and appears to take extreme pride is in work!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

If it’s your property, then you can plant a tree near power lines, but it’s not the best idea. Any vegetation that grows within 10 feet or so of power lines will fall under the responsibility of the utility company, and they may trim or remove it as necessary. If you do move forward with your plan, try to choose a smaller ornamental tree, plant it as far away from the power lines as you can, and keep it trimmed to avoid future problems.

How often and long you should water a tree depends on the species and if it is mature or newly planted. The amount of water is also based on the tree's size. A good rule of thumb is approximately 5 gallons per inch of the trunk's diameter.

Adjusting watering to the recommended suggestions for the tree type and weather conditions is vital. For instance, watering trees during a drought is necessary, and you may need to water more frequently than usual.

Your local government is usually in charge of pruning trees on public property, and the power company is responsible for trees near power lines (even if they’re on your property). Whether or not they top these trees depends on their approach to pruning. You won’t be able to do much to control this, but you can contact them to find out more about their pruning process.

No, you cannot throw branches from your neighbor’s tree back into their yard, nor can you discard leaves or other plant matter that originated from their yard back over there if it happens to land in your yard. You are responsible for cleaning up plant matter that made its way into your yard.

You should avoid cutting off the top of mature cherry trees. This process is called tree topping, and it’s not recommended for cherry trees—or any trees, for that matter. Tree topping removes between one-third to half of the length of the tree trunk, resulting in structurally unsound, fruitless suckers. The only exception is for saplings. Young pie, sour, and tart cherry trees that are over 30 inches tall in the fall or winter before the tree blooms can benefit from heading cuts.
