"I used Envision Painting to paint the interior of my block wall. They did a fabulous job. I have quite a few plants that are right against the wall, they took extra care to cover them and removed the covers immediately after painting so the plants didn't burn. They came back a few days later to make sure there weren't any spots that were missed, and touched up where needed. The crew was great. On time, professional and very polite. I would highly recommend them for any painting needs."

"I have had the pleasure of working with Jim and his pro painters several times in the past 15 years. They just painted our new home interior and we could not have been happier with the results. We faced challenges with going from darker to lighter colors and, as usual, Jims advice was perfect. Great work, done right at a fair price. Thanks again, Jim."

"AKP was excellent throughout this entire process. We had the entire house painted, inside and out, including all the cabinets. They did high quality work at a very competitive price. We were extremely happy!"

"The quality of work they did was great. They also did a great job coving all our furniture so it did not get paint on it. The paint was very well applied to the point that when I touched the walls I was impressed with how good/smooth it felt. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I have always done my own painting but this experience was quick and of much higher quality than I have ever had."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

With patience, you can often save a dried paintbrush. Soak the bristles overnight and clean the brush as you would any other time. You'll likely have to repeat the cleaning steps, including soaking, more than once.

To fix bubbling paint, scrape away any loose or blistered areas using a putty knife. Lightly sand the surface to smooth out rough edges and create a level finish. Clean the area thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, and any residue. Once the surface is clean and dry, apply a quality primer suited to the material you're painting. Finally, repaint the area, making sure to work in proper temperature and humidity conditions to prevent new bubbles from forming.

The best and fastest way to remove paint from a deck often involves combining a chemical stripper with a pressure washer. Gel-based paint strippers are highly recommended because their thick consistency makes them less messy and easier to apply than liquid strippers. After applying the stripper to loosen the paint, you can use a pressure washer to efficiently wash away the residue. When using a pressure washer for this task, it's important to use a low pressure (under 1000 PSI) to avoid forcing too much moisture into the wood, which could lead to mildew or rot.

Yes, you can technically use a pressure washer to remove paint from brick, but it comes with a significant risk of damaging the brick surface. A high-power pressure washer can be fast but may leave the brick looking unsightly. The recommended method is to first apply a chemical paint stripper, following the product's instructions, and then use a stiff metal bristle brush or a pressure washer on a low-pressure setting to remove the loosened paint. Due to the risk of damage, it is often best to hire a professional who can use low-stress methods.
