"Provider was very responsive and scheduled service to the date we requested. They were very punctual and brought a crew to complete the work. They performed all work as described under the big deal and I was pleased. We had previously done a lot of clearing out items in the garage so they did not need to sort through as much stuff as might be necessary for other people. The garage was cleaned nicely and items returned in an orderly fashion. Good work. Would have been better if they had spent a bit of time asking me about some things before returning them to the garage. They also did not empty and wipe the shelving units. Overall good work. Would be a very good value for a large garage.

"We are very pleased and satisfied with the cabinets and service.  We shopped for cabinets while on our house hunting trip in November and compared three cabinet companies.  We chose Triton because of the quality, very clean and modern manufacturing facility, responsiveness of quote and the personality of the people we met at the company.  The cabinets were ordered during our househunting trip and were installed the day after we moved in.  The installation was performed professionally and the installers were very courteous, neat and cleaned up after the job was complete.
We are so pleased with the product and installation that we decided to get a quote for additional garage cabinets as well as interior closet systems.

"This was a last minute on a Saturday morning. I had been looking for two days for someone to clean on Friday or Saturday because my husband was getting out of rehabilitation on Thursday. My house was in shambles. I’m wheelchair bound. Owner came out last minute and did a walk through on Saturday gave me great rate. Then ended up staying for extra time because my dogs were coming back and my house was in no condition for them. He went above and beyond for me and I would hire them again. Thank you Branson A+ Cleaning Services. ."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

One of the biggest disadvantages of glass garage doors is that they are not the best at insulating your garage. In the summer, heat can enter through the glass, while in the winter, heat can escape through the glass, increasing your electricity and gas bills as you crank up your HVAC unit. You can help mitigate the poorer insulation by investing in insulated glass and insulating your garage.

No, there should not be a gap between your garage door and the floor. Gaps can make your garage less energy efficient, leading to higher energy bills. They also create an entry point for pests like rodents and insects, as well as rain and melted snow, which can lead to foundation damage or mold issues.

If you have a gap under your garage door, potential causes include an uneven garage floor or worn-out weather stripping. To fix it, you can try several solutions:

  • Replace the weather stripping: The seal at the bottom of the door may need to be replaced.

  • Adjust the garage door: You may be able to adjust the closing position on your garage door opener to eliminate the gap.

  • Inspect the floor: If the concrete floor has shifted or is uneven, it may need to be repaired to create a level surface.

If these solutions do not resolve the issue, it is best to call a garage door repair specialist to inspect the door and floor.

Having a garage can increase the value of your home considerably, even if the garage isn't considered living space. Many people own cars and want a secure place to park their vehicles when they are home.

If you decide to finish your garage and convert it into living space, you may affect your home's value. The livable space may increase your home's square footage, which can help its value. But, giving up the garage space may also negatively affect the sale price of your home.

Garage door sensors should be installed on each side of the door, typically six inches off of the ground. The sensors communicate through an infrared beam, so they need to face each other directly for the system to work properly. Make sure they’re level and aligned, and keep the area around them clear. If they’re too high or out of alignment, your garage door won’t function properly.

The first place you start with any garage remodel, regardless of the project, is with repairs. You want a stable foundation to avoid problems from arising down the road. Once any necessary repairs are addressed, you’ll want to move on to layout changes, like installing new walls, running new electric, plumbing, and HVAC to the space, if required, and then finishing work.
