"Scott and his team did an excellent job on excavation and removal of dirt and clay, and graded property. Our property had a sloped backyard, that led to water retention at the base of our home. He removed the dirt and clay in a timely fashion, and built a 3-foot-high retaining wall 180 feet long. All of our concerns were addressed, and questions were answered throughout the project. He did an excellent job with cleanup and removal as well. We would not hesitate to use him for future projects if needed."

Slab foundations don’t require excavation or concrete block wall construction, so they’re the least expensive foundation type. They’re also the fastest to construct and don’t have many issues with moisture or water intrusion. However, they don’t give you extra storage space or potential living space like a crawl space or basement would, and they’re not ideal in colder areas where utility lines can freeze and frost heave can cause major damage.
