They came on a Sunday afternoon and applied a chemical to my mobile home siding and then pressure washed  the whole thing. All of the green mildew vanished and my siding looks like new. No kidding the outside siding looks brand spanking new. Amazing job. It took about 2 hours and they worked straight through. Everything was put back the way it was when they were done.

He showed me what the pressure wash could do with my deck and he did a test spot and it can bring back the wood to almost the way it was new. That will be my project in the future.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV. 

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

The easiest way to tell if a wall is load bearing is to check if it’s an exterior wall or if it runs perpendicular to the joists above and below it (or parallel to beams). Exterior walls are almost always load-bearing, and walls that run under beams or parallel to them are also usually load-bearing. There are exceptions to these rules, and walls that don’t fit into these categories can still be load-bearing. If you’re unsure, hire a structural engineer to look at your home to assess whether or not the wall is structural.

Choose a drill bit that is the size of the screws of the anchors you will use. If your home has significant changes in temperature and humidity, this can cause the drywall to swell and contract slightly, causing a crack at the weak point of the seam. If your drywall installer did a poor job securing the panels to the wall studs, this could cause a weak layout and cracks in the seams.
