"These guys have remodeled a bathroom and a laundry room for me. Good job leveling old floors. Fantastic job with the tile in the shower. Couple of flaws in drywall/paint but I just covered them up by hanging mirrrors or shelving infront. Overall they gave a really good deal on the work and were super nice people."

"Excellent work. I've never had drywall work done before when the cleaning afterwards was non-existant. Alan and Johnny prepped the rest of the room before doing the work then cleaned up totally after. You wouldn't know that there had been water damage in that room!"

The best tool for skim coating drywall is a skim coating blade, which can smooth out joint compound in wide stretches. While you could use a smaller drywall knife for skim coating, the smaller size means it’ll take longer to smooth out each section. Instead, consider investing in a skim coating blade for the quickest application.

It is more difficult to drywall a ceiling than it is to drywall a wall, but not so hard that DIYers can’t tackle it. One of the main issues with hanging drywall on your ceiling is getting it into place.
