On Feb 13 2015 it happened again, called the insurance company and they resent the same company to check they ran the snake and same results "your fixed" I asked how come we have not had a problem in 4 years and all of a sudden we get 2 time the same problem in 30 days, I don't know I can run a camera down it and see the fee will be $175 extra charge that your insurance company don't cover, I told him no, He suggested that I call the city have them come check their connection since all my pipes are pvc and 4 years old, we did exactly that and the city was furious because that is not the home owners job its a work request put in by the plumbers company. The city checked their connection and stated "Nothing was wrong on their end". When it happened a week later again I called Blaylock Heating and Plumbing, They came out in about 2 hours checked the line "they laid the initial piping to the city service when the house was remodeled" they said the pipes looked good still asked if we would like to run a camera down it to be sure no problems on the entire line, I agreed and said yes run the camera, They found that the city connection was offset a little bit and told us they would send in a work order for the city to come and re-check their initial findings since they now had the camera evidence that its not on our end but the cities connection, They marked the ground for one call and the work order submitted and we were billed two weeks later, total of $200 for entire ordeal. breakdown goes like this $80 for service call, $20 to run the snake, $100 to run the camera, submitting work order not my responsibility. If the city makes a determination will update at a later date. Showed up on time. Sent good pictures of the repairs that needed to be done, though none of what actually was done. Asked for an estimate to complete all necessary repairs and for a complete roof replacement. Price to replace pipe boots was several hundred dollars higher than other estimates I received. Never received any formal estimate for the roof replacement. Had to hire another company to complete the repairs so the "$100 repair credit" was useless. I'll give them a "C" grade in quality for the thorough inspection (evidenced by pictures) and the fact that the technician was polite. Other than that, I poured $49 down the drain for very minor repairs I'm sure would've been taken care of by the next company. Previously another company came out to try to fix the problem twice and the problem persisted. It was suggested that if the problem continues that I need to invest in a new bathroom faucet. I bought a faucet and decided to replace the face bowl with a new, better quality one. The plumber quoted me a price and we set a date and time. He called 15 minutes ahead to let me know that he was on the way and arrived 5 minutes early. He asked me if I got the right sized face bowl and I said that I think that I did. He then measured it and the old face bowl and determined that I did indeed purchase the right size. He then asked me if I bought the adhesive to seal it with. I told him no and he asked why not and didn't they sell me some with the face bowl. I replied no. I asked him if some of the stuff under the sink would work and I was lucky enough to have some adhesive that he could use under there. The plumber asked me for a container to let water drain out of the P trap after he disconnected it. The container I brought was the wrong size. I got another container, it was the wrong size. He asked me where I was getting these containers from and promptly followed me into my kitchen looking through my cabinets for a proper container. When he was satisfied with what he found he went to work. He removed the plastic shelving that I had underneath the face bowl and placed it in my bedroom. After removing the old face bowl he asked me if I had a putty knife and some steel wool so he could clean the old adhesive off of the vanity surface. After I looked for about 5 minutes for some he said that's okay that he got most of it off. After finally installing the face bowl and the faucet I had to furnish towels for the water that managed to escape the before mentioned water catching container and P trap. The plumber then found that the drain was too short to reach the P trap and he would have to go to the supply store to get some pipe. When he returned he asked me if I had a knife that he could use the cut the pipe. After doing so he put everything back together and checked for leaks. Luckily there were none. He then left the old faucet, face bowl, dirty water and shelving from underneath the face bowl cabinet in my bedroom floor."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ar/fort-smith/tristate-plumbing-reviews-2039644.htm"},"position":9}]}

FAQs for french drain service projects in Lavaca, AR
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
