When our washing machine drained, our sewer line was backing up into our shower and tub. We had experienced this problem 6 months ago and another plumbing company had come out and "cleaned out the line".
This time we called May Avenue Plumbing and explained our problem. Matthew, the plumber, came out within the hour. He evaluated the situation. He came into the house and inspected before he started working outside. ( He did this to try to keep from tracking dirt and mud into the house.) I found this to be very considerate. He snaked out the sewer drain line from the cleanout in the front yard. When he was reasonably sure he had found and eliminated the obstruction in the line, he checked to make sure the city line was flowing without problems before he was satisfied that our drain was flowing without problems. The charge for this service was $75.00. Matthew was informative, professional and we were very satisfied with the service.
