My business partner and I came here recently from to open our painting and drywall company. Together we have almost 30 years of experience. We do high end work even on smaller jobs. We are reliable and straight shooters. We were doing military housing and hotels but decided to set some roots here in Bentonville/Fayetteville. We have done million dollar houses so we are very capable of producing too knotch work. We are fast but neat, we don't like to keep the customer waiting after all. Give us a chance and we'll impress!

Exterior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes. If you change your mind at some point in the future, you can paint over your limewash. To get an even coat of paint, you should first prep your surface by cleaning it thoroughly and applying an appropriate primer. Since limewash has a matte finish once it’s dry, you likely don’t even need to sand it first.

Knockdown and orange peel are two popular types of drywall textures. There are a couple of key differences, but the main one is the application process. When creating an orange peel texture, you spray the material onto the drywall. With knockdown, the first step is to spray, stomp, or brush the material onto the drywall. Then, you drag a tool (like a knife or trowel) over the material to create unique designs.

The farmhouse style is all about creating a warm and inviting space that’s relaxing and connects to nature, so natural, muted colors are best. Feel free to bring in whites, creams, grays, and light browns for wall colors. For flooring, opt for natural wood colors or darker wood stains. Choose raw materials like undyed cotton, burlap, and wool for linens, pillows, and blankets.

Barns and barndominiums are most commonly painted red, like barns depicted in movies and paintings. The practice of painting barns red dates back to America’s colonial days, when new farmers would borrow the European practice of mixing linseed oil with ferrous oxide to coat the barns in order to protect them from the elements, leaving the structures with a red color.

First, make sure that you tape off all the areas that you don’t want to paint black. It’s harder to paint a light color over black than to touch up any lighter spots you missed. Once you’ve taped it off, make sure that the surface is clean and smooth, and then prime the wall with a tinted primer in gray. This step will help to transition from a lighter color to a darker one.
