We called and left a message at 4:30 a.m. and by 5:30 we received a return call from Ron saying they would be out to the house by 8:00 am. They were here by 7:45 and within a couple of hours, we had a new water heater. I can’t say enough about Ron and his crew’s professionalism and work. If you suspect a broken gas line in your home, turn the gas off at the mains and call a nearby emergency plumber. Don't attempt to fix it yourself, and don't use anything that could cause a flame or a spark. Your pro has the tools and experience to safely repair the gas line.

Only yellow Teflon tape is approved for use on gas lines. Also called yellow PTFE tape, it is thicker and specifically rated for use on natural gas and propane connections. Standard white Teflon tape is not safe for gas applications.
