"My lawn was previously maintained by "Lawn Doctor" and my lawn was in terrific shape due to their great care. When the owner decided to get out of the business he recommended "Ace of Blades" based on their very good reputation. The first year everything was great. The second year they burned spots on my grass that they said was caused by a new machine's exhaust. They sent someone out to put top soil on the burn spots to promote healing. The person treating my lawn killed my row of flowers that were in front of the gas meters since 1996 by spraying weed killer on them, This year, only a few weeks ago the operator told me that he was going to spray some "Nutsedge in the lawn. This had been done before, and it would turn both the Nutsedge and the Bermuda yellow for a few days and the Bermuda would recover and the Nutsedge was gone.
This time he sprayed some spots in the front lawn, and large areas in the back lawn. All of these areas turned brown in and died. HERBICIDE was used."

In addition to a clean home, fleas dislike oils made from plants that are naturally bug-resistant or poisonous to bugs. That includes myrtle, mint, eucalyptus, and especially cedar oil. Tie a fishing line from one end of the deck post to the other. Birds won’t be able to see the line across the railing, so they can’t land on it.
Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away.
Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.
Moles make mounds that look like tiny volcanoes, and they are sometimes obscure. They're stealthy creatures that feast on insects. Gophers, on the other hand, create half-moon mounds while digging deeper tunnels. These critters chew on roots and plants, so it is often easier to spot the damage created. Also, moles are usually smaller, with velvety fur, tiny eyes, and shovel-like hands for digging. Gophers are larger rodents with prominent front teeth and external cheek pouches for carrying food. Scorpions can climb walls with rough surfaces (like stucco siding). They need something to grip onto, which is why they can easily climb on clothes, comforters on beds, and other items in your home.
However, it’s worth noting that scorpions cannot climb clean glass. So if you have a hole or damaged area where scorpions are coming in, a temporary fix may be to secure a piece of glass over the area.
