Seemed appropriate time for a 4 br, 2.5 house w/attic. Inspector started outside which included him walking the entire roof and checking all structures including deck, soffits, fascia, gutters, chimney, crawl space, etc. He took clear, color pictures of any defects he found. Inspection appeared to be thorough, going from outside to inside, however, an attic access panel in a closet was missed. Also missed was the satellite dish that was mounted in a "valley" inappropriately that needs to be removed and repaired.
He said he would not thoroughly inspect the kitchen appliances, which we understood. He did run the dishwasher to check for leaks. After we moved in, we found that the microwave was literally held together by duct tape and definitely did not work properly. This was missed by the inspector. Just finding the duct tape would have been a red flag.
He did take the time to answer our numerous questions and provide explanations of his cursory review. His final report was impressive - 35 pages of detail and pictures. The misses, however, were enough to lower our opinion of the overall score. Additional recommendation is to include a moisture gauge which we have seen in other house inspections that would identify any potential leaks behind a wall.

We contacted Master-Tech Plumbing for the first time due to out regular plumber being unavailable for immediate response to our needs. A small two foot piece of galvenized pipe with a small hair-line crack was found to be the cause. The pipe was replaced by unscrewing it from the elbow six inches underground and replaced with a new piece of pipe. Following plumbing codes & regulations, a pressure test was done, followed by inspection from city officials and gas service restored to our residence.
Quality & Professionalism: Master-Tech Plumbing was prompt to respond. A plumber arrived the next morning and got right on the job. The leak was found fairly quickly and repaired fairly quickly. The workmanship very acceptable. Price: Excluding the price of the parts for the repair, the hourly rate was 33% higher than other plumbers in the area (in the same town, within 5 miles). The hourly rate was 40% higher than our regular plumber and 33% higher than another well-established plumber in the area.
Recommendation: If the situation arose to require plumbing services (which I'm sure it will), and the situation does not call for immediate action, I would wait on my regular plumber, or research for a competitive plumber in the area. I would only resort to calling Master-Tech Plumbing again ONLY if the situation required immediate attention and no other options were available."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ar/crossett/master-technicians-and-mechanicals-llc-reviews-6312108.htm"},"position":6},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"FELKINS CONSTRUCTION","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"AR","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Michael D."},"reviewBody":"Don't use this guy. This was the worst experience of our life and we've had some real wild experiences. He started the work in August, with the guarantee it would be done by Christmas. By the end of August he had gotten a check for $5,000 and he quit showing up. There was always an excuse - first other jobs he was finishing, then sick babies, angry wife, broken down truck. He was rarely on the job and his employees rarely had direction, materials they needed or paychecks. From the funds we gave him to pay subcontractors, he short paid the subs, and we ended up repaying so they would complete the work. Again, no Paul available to explain, just unhappy workers who wanted to get paid. By October, when Paul did come around, he never had money to buy materials or pay employees. We became his paymaster, putting our foot down when he began asking us to pay his employees for time they had spent at other jobs and asking to borrow $20 for gas - claiming his wife kept all his money and won't let him have any. Major items (like shower and bathroom vanity) that he ask us to have delivered by a certain date for installation ended up sitting for weeks and were broken before they could be installed. Near the end, Paul would show up at sunset, work a couple of minutes, and then ask for money, claiming he would be back \"first thing in the morning.\" We've ended up using others to finish the project and to repair the work Felkins did. Now the end of April, we are still making repairs (this time to a leaking roof he installed and the damge the leaks created to the interior) Don't let this guy near your house."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ar/fayetteville/felkins-construction-reviews-5799662.htm"},"position":7}]}
Wrought Iron Fencing Repair reviews from real Angi homeowners in Fairfield Bay, AR
Final product is beautiful and they did a great job installing! Each of the posts was secured in concrete and all are straight and plumb. The split rail fence which had a tricky pattern, was completed exactly as I asked and looks incredible. The black chain link exceeds our expectations...

WFR Carpentry Services is an interior and exterior home remodeling business. I (William Reed) am the sole employee/operator. I do complete gut renovations, from demolition, to reframing and rejoisting, sheetrock, floors, custom cabinetry/shelving, custom islands and other furniture, tile, and painting. For exteriors I build decks, patios, privacy fences, tree houses, stairs, and replace/repair exterior facade components. I do historical restorations as well. I have 10 years experience in the building trades industry, from initially working on historical buildings in New York City to doing gut renovations on private homes there, then transitioning into cabinetry in Portland, OR to finally starting my own carpentry service business back in my native Ozarks in Northern Arkansas. I work on an hourly rate plus all materials, this sets me apart from many other contractors who operate on an "estimate wage principle" meaning that they quote the homeowner a certain amount and then slowly do the job after they get money upfront. I am only being paid while I work for you on your project. If I'm not there, you aren't paying for anything!! I learned this practice while working in New York City, it keeps everything on the level and you(the homeowner) happy!!!! Furthermore, I only work on one project at a time which means you will always be the priority!
"We discovered that we had a very poorly built house. This caused a lot of unforeseen problems but he always solved them. He was always prompt and rarely took breaks when he was here. He wants you to be satisfied with the work. If he is satisfied, the work is way above average. He has really beautified our home. He would be the first person I would call if I need more done to my home."
