Specifics: Plaster (final finished coat/color) is terrible. I drive a truck for a living and could likely get a more uniform color than what I have now. Asked for two zone jets (pool and spa area) I got them, but the spa area includes 4 jets and 3 are of one style, the 4th is a mismatch. WHAT?? THIS FOR 35K??? Plumbing was not included, but was not stated in my bid? Really? I get a pool, pump, and a heater but have to pay my plumber extra to hook it all up? Means the final cost was much more than agreed upon. Electrical was not included, but was not stated in my bid. Really? you have several electronics to run a pool and you do not use your electrician so I have to pay more than we agreed on our bid to get it completed. Means the final cost was more than agreed upon. Water feature was agreed to in writing on the bid by BOTH OF US, yet I have NO water feature. Due to inexperience or lack of planning, no switch was planned by this contractor to operate lighting and spa feature so for a 'mere' $700 more I got a remote system to run their mistake. OK, I like the idea, hate that I get to pay for another of their screw ups but I'll go with it. Yup, I have it, but hasnt worked in months. What the?? I get to walk around the house to turn on/off lights, pumps, diverters, and jets. Great idea. Failed electrician inspection phase because a back hoe driver did the electrical bonding. I feel safe!! This could have cost me several months. Solution - pour concrete over the work so the inspectors cannot fail it again. Great! I, a truck driver, had to set the skimmer basket height for the concrete deck to be poured. I have a little bit of common sense so it turned out just ok, but why the heck does this contractor not ensure each part of the project is not only done, but done right. Yes, I contacted him to let him know, he told me to handle it. I did. Complete failure in my opinion. So unhappy about this. A dozier set on my lot (actually under my roof - kept my framing/roof from going up - construction delay) for weeks because their dozier was out of fuel. Actually, it ran out of fuel less than an hour after being on site and that meant it was time to go home - for a few weeks. There are many more failures, so unhappy with the work, or lack of work and the tremendous price change from quote to finished product. Note, quick to answer the phone, quick to put the blame/problem back on me and my house contractor, quick to collect on the 'next phase', and very, very, very slow to come and move on. Biggest fail of my home building project. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for gunite pools. PERIOD. Pay double elsewhere to get it done because in the end, you will pay double. I wish you could see my finished product. I see it every day.

They finally "demo'd" our existing fence on 04/30/13. They did not come back until 05/09/13 when they sent a crew they had hired on Craig's List. This crew did what they were told to do, but the layout was completely wrong. Our posts were only set 18" deep (supposed to be at least 24"), they were out of line, and one side was on my neighbor's property. The "contractor" did not supervise the work and did not meet the workers to pay them either. There was not enough materials to even set all the posts (lacking posts and concrete). When I told them I was uncomfortable with their future plans of finishing setting the posts on the day he planned to nail up the fence, his wife threatened to come and tear out all of the wood and concrete that had been set with her minivan. I made a police report due to this threat. After we made the police report, we told them not to set foot on our property again. We plan to pursue them in small claims court. We obtained estimates from three different companies who each proposed three different methods over a $20,000.00 price range. Despite my research I could not identify the best method of the three. My wife and I hired a structural engineer to perform an evalualtion, asking him to identify the best method. Without hesitation he recommend the technique used by Foundation Pro (the steel pier method). Foundation Pro's quote was the highest of the three given but we felt that for the money involved, not to mention the structural integrity of our home, it would be foolish to go with a lesser method. The job took much longer to complete than originally estimated but in all honesty a good part of the delay was because the foundation had previously been "fixed" by trenching under portions of the foundation and injecting tons of concrete to shore up the home. Not only did this prior repair aggravate the sinking of the foundation, it complicated Foundation Pro's task by forcing them to spend four days jack hammering through an average of four feet of concrete at multiple points. Our quote called for 27 steel piers on the perimeter of the foundation and five piers under the flooring. Our home is pier and beam construction with a crawl space. In the end Foundation Pro deternined that four additional piers were needed under the house to properly level the floor. These were added at no additional cost. In the end we are extremely pleased with the repair. For the first time in years our home is level and stable. All doors and windows can be opened and closed without sticking or binding. The cracks in the brick facade were closed and sealed and the windows were re-caulked. Our primary point of contact with the company, Brent Stroud, was very pleasant to deal with. Always upbeat, he promptly returned all telephone calls. Both he and Bob Stroud frequently came by our home to check on the progress of the repair.
I am confident that this repair will last. If that is not the case however, I have strong reason to believe that Foundation Pro will stand behind their lifetime guarantee on the steel piers. To sum it up. Foundation Pro does quality work. If you find yourself in my position, with the stability and integrity of your home at stake,go for a repair that you can count on. Terrible, very unhappy. Yes, I did get the pool installed. Many delays and their delays caused construction delays. Finished product does not look like what you would pay negotiated price for. Got too busy to finish/follow up on my jobsite, yet had no problem accepting and demanding my...

FAQs for concrete finishing projects in Cabot, AR
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of stamped concrete is around $12 per square foot, but you might pay anywhere from $8 to $28 per square foot. The average 12-foot by 12-foot patio costs $1,730 on average. Your exact pricing will depend on the patio’s square footage, the condition of the area where you want to pour the concrete, the desired stamp pattern, concrete coloring, concrete grade, and local labor prices. Don’t forget to budget for extra costs like land preparation and additional concrete fortifications if necessary.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
It’s possible to create stamped concrete yourself, but we don’t recommend it and it’s often not cost-effective. It’s easy to mess up the pattern of a stamped concrete patio or walkway, leaving you with an unsightly home exterior rather than the elegant solution you wanted. Any mistakes made during the ground leveling and concrete pouring process will also increase the risk of cracks forming on your concrete. Additionally, buying enough stamps to get the pattern in before your concrete cures can cost as much as hiring a professional to do the work for you.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
